LOOKING FOR CONVENIENT AND MEMORABLE STAY IN YOGYAKARTA ? Definitely, stay in Marriott Yogyakarta. ✅️ Outstanding Service ✅️ Easy-to-access Location ✅️ Next to Mall (Pakuwon) ✅️ Big Rooms My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now. PRE-STAY Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this. What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well. I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate. *see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable. STAY I love it when : - the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting. - Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott. - we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands. - they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function. - we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy. Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s). These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp. What more could I ask, Marriott Yogya 🫰🏻❤️ thank you

Room layout is good. It’s not that big, but they set the layout really good so it still feels spacious. No closet, only a limited open space to hang your clothes. I stayed here for 2 nights, and unfortunately I got lots of troubles during this stay: 1. After checking in, I went to my room immediately, and turned out it’s a super messy room (another guest just checked out and they didn’t clean it up yet). So I had to go back to lobby and asked for another room. 2. In my new room, the AC got leaked and it dripped constantly as long as the AC was on. I had to put a bowl, container, or whatever it is. Already told the staff, he said he would follow up. Nothing they did until the day I checked out. 3. On my second day, I couldn’t even open the room door with my own room card. Guess they only set the card for one night only, so I had to go back to lobby again. They just reset without explaining why it happened. Actually the staffs were very nice and friendly. Just all those troubles gave me impression that this hotel isn’t professional enough. Breakfast was good. Not many options available, but good enough to fill your tummy. Location is great. Room is clean. Limited parking area but they had vallet service.

Dit is het langste en meest bevredigende hotel waar ik heb verbleven tijdens deze reis naar Yogyakarta. De prijs/prestatieverhouding is zeer hoog. Het zwembad van het hotel is schoon en het landschap is ongeëvenaard zwembad, en je kunt prachtige foto's maken. De kamer is ruim en voorzien van goede faciliteiten. Het is de beste keuze voor reizen met kinderen. Het bed is vrij groot en er is een supergrote erker. Eten in de stad is handig. Loop gewoon de straat uit en sla rechtsaf. Er is een kleine winkel die halal rundvleessoep serveert. De biefstuk is superlekker en goedkoop. Ik wil er heel graag nog een keer heen! Eén van de foto's is een vulkaan, genomen vanuit de kamer. Deze kan alleen 's ochtends worden gemaakt als het mooi weer is.

De kamer is prima voor de prijs. Gelegen aan de achterkant van Ambarrukmo Plaza, een van de duurste winkelcentra van Yogya, is het Victoria Hotel een uitstekende keuze voor mij en mijn vriend tijdens het verkennen van de stad. Ten eerste is de prijs zeer betaalbaar, en in deze prijsklasse is het voordeel dat ik heb gehad van wat het hotel te bieden heeft de moeite waard. In tegenstelling tot veel andere hotels in deze prijsklasse is de kamer niet krap. Het is goed onderhouden, dus ik heb niet het gevoel dat ik in een budgethotel of zoiets verblijf. De voorzieningen zijn ook compleet; er zijn binnen slippers voor eenmalig gebruik, een tandenborstel voor eenmalig gebruik, douchegel en shampoo. Mijn kamer is de Deluxe en zou uitzicht op het zwembad moeten hebben, maar hij ligt vrij aan de voorkant, dus mijn uitzicht is van iemand anders. Ik moest gluren en mijn wang tegen het raam drukken om vanuit mijn kamer het zwembad te zien. De Deluxe kamer heeft ook een groot glazen raam in de badkamermuur die naar binnen kijkt. Ze zijn ideaal voor stellen, maar gelukkig heeft de kamer rolluiken, dus ook ideaal voor familie en vrienden. Deze twee kenmerken de deluxe en superior kamer. Al met al ben ik zeer tevreden over mijn bezoek en zou ik in de toekomst zeker weer voor Victoria Hotel kiezen.

A stay at Artotel Yogjakarta.... 1st time down in Yogya. Great location .. a lot of eateries from udon to a nice kebab next door... Breakfast was ok decent.. can't compare to the main artotel at thamrin... But service is kinda slow.. Rooms.... A bit worn down... Especially the toilet area.. tiles are slippery... Towels... Hmmm shall not describe much.. but for the price paid... Ohh well I guess not much complain

We enjoyed our stay here with excellent service with a smile always. The room is very spacious and clean although the floor is not carpeted. The housekeeping services were prompt and exceeded our expectations and special mention to the staff Andri. This hotel is well centrally located next to the shopping mall and my room has an awesome view of the Merapi. However, the breakfast selections and tastes still have room for improvement. Also, the towels provided a little worn out and discoloured.

De kamer was behoorlijk ruim. Ik had twee eenpersoonsbedden geboekt, maar omdat ze niet erg breed waren, heb ik gevraagd of ze er een groot bed van konden maken. Het ontbijt in het hotel was uitzonderlijk goed! Er was een ruime keuze en het eten was heerlijk. Naast het restaurant was een kleine speelruimte voor kinderen, wat mijn ouders een welkome pauze gaf. Het zwembad was redelijk, niet bijzonder schoon. Er was een leuke speelruimte bij het zwembad met speelgoed en boeken, waar mijn kind zich prima vermaakte. Parkeren was makkelijk en het personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Only 2 good things about this hotel: service and breakfast spread - these are 5 stars! 👍 The rest are not up to expectations. 1. Location is far from town and airport. 2. Amenities are very old. A lot of things are spoiled and yet not replaced or repaired. 3. Because everything is old and dated, they look dirty too. Bedsheets are full of stains! 4. Water pressure of shower is very low. Take a long time to bathe. I booked here just because the event I was going to was hosted in this hotel. Glad that I didn’t extend my stay after the event. I am sorry but I won’t recommend this hotel.

De locatie ligt zeer dicht bij de toeristische attractie van de lavareis. De kamers zijn redelijk schoon, maar er zijn voorzieningen die een beetje ontbreken, zoals het toilet dat niet is geüpgraded en er zijn verschillende delen van het gebouw die mogelijk gerepareerd moeten worden. De service is zeer bevredigend, de hotelmedewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk.
