Het hotel ligt in Saint-Maxime, aan zee, en heeft een elegant en charmant interieur. Het beschikt over een klein zwembad op de binnenplaats, waardoor het 's nachts erg rustig is, en het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid! Hoewel de kamers klein zijn, hebben ze een klein terras waar je in een rieten stoel kunt zitten en van het uitzicht op zee kunt genieten. Er is parkeergelegenheid naast het hotel, maar die is vrij duur (30 euro per nacht), hoewel ik heb gehoord dat parkeren op straat ook gratis is. Het enige minpuntje was dat we rond 15.00 uur aankwamen en de receptie zei dat er nog maar één kamer met zeezicht op de begane grond beschikbaar was. De kamer was klein en het uitzicht op zee was beperkt; voor een kamer op een hogere verdieping moesten we 160 euro extra betalen voor een upgrade. Dat kon ik niet accepteren. Ik heb hierover contact opgenomen met de klantenservice van Ctrip, maar zonder succes. Ze hebben ons slechts een bedrag van 30 euro vergoed voor de parkeerkosten.

”We arrived at the hotel around 1:00 PM, hoping they might have a room available. But we cannot get our room until 3:00PM due to their policy, even the hotel was not full. The receptionist informed me I had two bookings in the system—one for that night and one for three months later. I was completely baffled and spent a stressful half-hour checking all my apps, worried my account had been hacked. They insisted the second booking was under my name. It took them a couple of hours to finally figure out it was their own administrative error; they had filed another guest's reservation under my name. When I finally got to the room, the disappointment continued. The room was very small. My husband and I had two big suitcases, and there was absolutely no space to store them. We had to climb over them just to get around, and we couldn't open both at the same time. Given how strict they are about the 3:00 PM check-in and 11:00am check out (which we respected), you'd expect them to have their systems in order

Een leuk klein hotel op vijf minuten lopen van het treinstation. Het bevindt zich in een wooncomplex en beslaat twee verdiepingen. Direct op de eerste rij, zeg maar - voor het hotel liggen een weg en een strand. Eind april 2025 werd juist deze weg gerepareerd, waardoor de helft van het terrein werd geblokkeerd en afgegraven. Onze kamer keek uit op de ”tuin”, wat een pluspunt is - het is er rustig, vooral met het raam dicht. Alle kamers bevinden zich op de eerste verdieping (de t****e verdieping). Het was schoon, ruim, en er was zelfs een bad, wat zeldzaam is. Het bed is breed en comfortabel. Er is een minikoelkast, een waterkoker, thee en koffie. De wifi is snel, daar hadden we geen problemen mee. Enkele minpunten: uitstekende verstaanbaarheid, dichtslaande deuren en voorbijlopende bewoners. Het is fijn dat het 's nachts rustiger werd. Het ontbijt is prima - eieren, worstjes, pannenkoeken, gebak, yoghurt, muesli en fruit, je zult geen honger lijden. Er zijn winkels, een kerk en een McDonald's vlakbij het hotel. En de veerboot naar Saint-Tropez is snel en gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken. Al met al is het voor deze prijs een geweldige optie.

The hotel is located 35 min walk from the town otherwise 10min of drive to the city. The reception service is excellent, very helpful and polite. The pool and the jacuzzi is heated even during the winter, and kept clean and tidy around, it was enjoyable to use it in the morning. The room I had was classic, but my room was upgraded from a classic to family when I arrived. The room kept clean and tidy each day! The things like a rob and slippers are not provided, but it was a pleasant stay and going to come back again.

Gemengde ervaring – enkele teleurstellingen voor een ”spahotel” Het personeel was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was oké, niet slecht, maar ook niets bijzonders. Het grootste probleem voor ons was de spa. Deze is niet bij de kamerprijs inbegrepen en zelfs na betaling kun je slechts een beperkt aantal tijdslots boeken (10-13 of 15-18). Dit betekent dat als je er zowel 's ochtends als 's avonds gebruik van wilt maken, je twee keer moet betalen. Voor een hotel dat zichzelf profileert als een spabestemming – en met kamerprijzen die aan de hoge kant zijn voor de regio – was dit beleid erg teleurstellend. We dachten aanvankelijk dat toegang tot de spa inbegrepen was. Ik vond het ook nogal vreemd dat ik niet met een gloednieuwe zwembroek het zwembad in mocht. Ze zeiden dat alleen traditionele badkleding (slips of strakke badpakken) was toegestaan ​​om ”hygiënische redenen”, wat ik niet echt begrijp. Mijn zwembroek was helemaal schoon en nog nooit eerder gedragen.

Het hotel is zeer gemakkelijk te bereiken, het personeel is erg professioneel en attent, en de kamer was schoon en erg rustig voor een kamer op de begane grond aan de straatkant. Het enige kleine minpuntje: parkeren is niet gratis! Maar het is zo handig 👍 perfect voor een weekendje weg.

The staff at the reception was incredibly helpful and kind! But the housekeeping was terrible, I put the red sign because I wanted to sleep and on the day of check-out she tried coming in twice, she should know red is do not disturb even if she can't read and she never really cleaned, what's the point? The toilet seat was dark bege with stains all over, they could have better maintenance or at least deep cleaning. The shower looked like hasn't been cleaned for months with yellow and orange stains, plenty of mold near it too. I am pleased it was very well located, safe and again the reception was so helpful, mainly the young lady from check-in, priceless customer service.

Unfortunately I hadn’t a experience pleasant as expected. I arrived at the hotel exactly at 20h30 as requested. But there was no one there to handle the payment. After a long waiting time, finally someone showed up and said I should proceed the payment through a machine which do not accept cash. But when I booked I selected cash as payment method, once I don’t have an European card. The guy who “welcomed” me said it was impossible handling the payment and therefore I couldn’t stay at theirs place. I asked for the contact of the owner of the place, once the guy who talked to me it was only a guardian of the building. When she answered, the owner was upset about I having her personal contact and disturbing her late night and still said there was nothing that she could do for me. Hence I should find another place to sleepover cause she couldn’t either process the payment by cash at that moment and receiving it in next morning. I was lucky enough that there was another guy passing by at the place, who saw what was happening and he was so nice to offer me his card to get the room and I paid him back by cash. I’m really grateful to him, cause it was night, cold, I had many luggages, no other place to go and that hotel wanted just kick me out for something which is definitely their responsibility. Once they accept cash payment they must have a way to proceed those payments. I’m such disappointed about that experience and the service provided from that place. I strongly do not recommend it. They don’t care at all about the customer wellbeing.
