"Its a Wyndham Hotel Chain so the service is excellent 👍 Breakfast is Great also. The minor con is the location a little bit far from Lijiang Ancient Town where all the crowd go. But its just a little walk distance to lijiang railway station, no need to take taxi."

"Highly highly recommend this stay. One of the best hotel stay i ever had. Hotel was super clean and new, as advertised on the photograph. Fantastic view of the mountain. Room facilities were superb, there was really nothing i could have asked for better. The most outstanding aspect is the service. As foreigners in china, we relied almost exclusively on the front desk for everything. Its like having a 24hr concierge/ butler. They booked drivers for us, helped us find cheaper alternatives, even offered to cook for us outside office hours because we are coming back late. You will be send to and fro the baisha old town via a buggee with no waiting time at all. Every night, there is a campfire, BBQ ,fireworks exclusively for the hotel guess. For ppl with kids, they have cute little lambs around their yard (cordon off but accessible)."

"I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU."

"Ik verbleef vier nachten in het guesthouse in augustus en de algehele ervaring was uitstekend. Ik verbleef twee nachten in een Sunny King Room en twee nachten in een Snow Mountain View Room. Beide kamers waren ruim, schoon en comfortabel. De Sunny King Room baadde in de zon, perfect om te zonnebaden; de Snow Mountain View Room bood een adembenemend uitzicht op de magnifieke besneeuwde bergen – een werkelijk betoverend gezicht. De eigenaar van het guesthouse, geboren in Beijing, was ongelooflijk hartelijk en vriendelijk, waardoor ik me meteen thuis voelde. De service was uitstekend; eventuele problemen werden snel opgelost. Ik zal dit guesthouse zeker weer kiezen de volgende keer dat ik Lijiang bezoek; het was echt een heerlijk verblijf!"

"Hotel is relatively new so it looks clean, but small details like the carpet in the corridors leading to rooms being embedded with dirt/debris is visible. Service staff is friendly, efficient, helpful, and give off a lovely vibe! The view is as promised, you can see the Yulong Snow Mountains comfortably from the bed, and watch both sunrise and sunset (stayed during summer). They also serve an excellent afternoon tea with freshly ground local coffee beans which was delicious. Downsides: - Window is non-tinted so we legit got suntanned just for opening the curtains. - Not particularly friendly for toddlers. - There seems to be nonsmoking rooms but they allow smoking and there are ashtrays in the bins of the common corridor, even outside people's rooms. - Room is incredibly small and full of sharp corners at toddler height. - There is limited counter top space and space to open luggage... Never felt claustrophobic before until staying in this small room with a toddler. If travelling solo/as a backpacker, this place is a top tier stay as it is close to many things in Lijiang."

"🏖️ **Amenities**: The courtyard is beautifully designed and very charming. We had a spacious room with two large beds. I'd suggest adding a trash can under the sink so guests don't have to walk back and forth to dispose of toiletries. The room has a Tmall Genie, which older guests might find a bit tricky to use, but the owner was happy to help set it up. 🧹 **Cleanliness**: The room was very clean, odorless, and bug-free. The bed was also super comfortable. I appreciate the wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The mirror above the sink was a bit high; at 155cm, I could just about see my face. The towels, bath towels, and robes were all spotless, and the toothbrushes provided were actually better than the ones I got at Hilton last time! 🍃 **Environment**: The hotel is a newly built courtyard located in a village near Baisha Ancient Town. The surrounding area is still under development. The stone path from the alley to the entrance was a bit rough and uncomfortable to walk on. The rooftop has several photo-op spots, including a swing, flowers, a large photo frame, and the snow-capped mountains look stunning. 💼 **Service**: The owner helped us with our luggage and even gave two small cushions to our child. They also prepared a simple breakfast for our little one, which we really appreciated. We hope the breakfast bar gets set up soon, as it would be great to have breakfast at the hotel, especially when traveling with kids."

"Ten eerste de pluspunten: het hotel is gunstig gelegen, vlakbij Lijiang, de Shuhe-sneeuwberg en andere bezienswaardigheden. De kamers zijn nieuw en van goede voorzieningen voorzien, en het uitzicht op de besneeuwde bergen vanaf de derde verdieping is ook erg mooi. Echter, wellicht omdat het buiten het hoogseizoen was, werden het hotel en de omgeving gerenoveerd, wat overdag voor lawaai en veel stof zorgde. De hotelkamers waren niet erg geluiddicht, en midden in de nacht werd ik meerdere keren wakker gemaakt door auto's langs de weg en mensen die luid schreeuwden, wat behoorlijk irritant was."

"In 19 years of life, never have i been to such an AMAZING hotel with such amazing staff and location. I’ve travelled a lot and stayed at many luxury hotels, and this is my favorite one to date. Not only was the room perfect, but the staff were helpful with absolutely everything. They arrange cars for you from and to the airport or other touristic attractions in the city, , they help with your suitcases, and always have foo, snacks and drinks for you whenever you please. Apart from that, and this is the reason i think the staff is truly exceptional, they helped me retrieve my lost suitcase from the airport after i had already arrives at the hotel, and i didn’t have to worry about anything. They also helped me reserve tickets to the snow mountain and confirm DIDI locations. They also ordered me medicine from the pharmacy because i didn’t know how to do it myself. And to conclude, they are genuinely the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and so so so helpful. I recommend this hotel 1000000%."
