"Ten eerste de pluspunten: het hotel is gunstig gelegen, vlakbij Lijiang, de Shuhe-sneeuwberg en andere bezienswaardigheden. De kamers zijn nieuw en van goede voorzieningen voorzien, en het uitzicht op de besneeuwde bergen vanaf de derde verdieping is ook erg mooi. Echter, wellicht omdat het buiten het hoogseizoen was, werden het hotel en de omgeving gerenoveerd, wat overdag voor lawaai en veel stof zorgde. De hotelkamers waren niet erg geluiddicht, en midden in de nacht werd ik meerdere keren wakker gemaakt door auto's langs de weg en mensen die luid schreeuwden, wat behoorlijk irritant was."

"In 19 years of life, never have i been to such an AMAZING hotel with such amazing staff and location. I’ve travelled a lot and stayed at many luxury hotels, and this is my favorite one to date. Not only was the room perfect, but the staff were helpful with absolutely everything. They arrange cars for you from and to the airport or other touristic attractions in the city, , they help with your suitcases, and always have foo, snacks and drinks for you whenever you please. Apart from that, and this is the reason i think the staff is truly exceptional, they helped me retrieve my lost suitcase from the airport after i had already arrives at the hotel, and i didn’t have to worry about anything. They also helped me reserve tickets to the snow mountain and confirm DIDI locations. They also ordered me medicine from the pharmacy because i didn’t know how to do it myself. And to conclude, they are genuinely the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, and so so so helpful. I recommend this hotel 1000000%."

"I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU."

"De eerste dag verbleven we in de Wild Luxury Suite en de t****e dag stapte mijn vriend over naar de Family Suite. De kamer was net zo groot en comfortabel als voorheen, en de warmwaterbron was ook erg aangenaam. De volgende dag nam ik nog even een snel bad voordat ik vertrok. Het zorgde er werkelijk voor dat mijn hele lichaam ontspande. Er werd ook een vast menu geserveerd en we bestelden wat, wat goed smaakte. Het is nog steeds hetzelfde als voorheen. De prijs is goed, de omgeving is aangenaam en de warmwaterbron is erg aangenaam. Ik heb het aan vrienden die komen, aanbevolen."

"Het hotel heeft een prettige omgeving en een charmante binnenplaats. Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk, de rijstnoedels waren heerlijk en de zoete soep 's avonds was warm. Het ligt dicht bij de oude stad Baisha, waardoor het gemakkelijk te voet te bereiken is. De kamer had een prachtig uitzicht; op een heldere dag kun je de Jade Dragon Snow Mountain direct zien. Helaas was het weer slecht toen we incheckten en was de berg gehuld in wolken en mist, wat wel jammer was."

"Hotel is relatively new so it looks clean, but small details like the carpet in the corridors leading to rooms being embedded with dirt/debris is visible. Service staff is friendly, efficient, helpful, and give off a lovely vibe! The view is as promised, you can see the Yulong Snow Mountains comfortably from the bed, and watch both sunrise and sunset (stayed during summer). They also serve an excellent afternoon tea with freshly ground local coffee beans which was delicious. Downsides: - Window is non-tinted so we legit got suntanned just for opening the curtains. - Not particularly friendly for toddlers. - There seems to be nonsmoking rooms but they allow smoking and there are ashtrays in the bins of the common corridor, even outside people's rooms. - Room is incredibly small and full of sharp corners at toddler height. - There is limited counter top space and space to open luggage... Never felt claustrophobic before until staying in this small room with a toddler. If travelling solo/as a backpacker, this place is a top tier stay as it is close to many things in Lijiang."

"This gorgeous hotel at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, exceeded my expectations! Very friendly and helpful reception, and as a foreigner who cannot speak Chinese, I really appreciated everyone’s hospitality, including the owner who speaks English. My room was beautiful, and equipped with all amenities needed. The location is great, close to many attractions and it was surprisingly easy to get a taxi each time. The vibe of the hotel is truly unique - quiet, solitude, happy farm-style! The animals all have their own little “hobbit houses,” and are living their best lives at this beautiful, clean hotel. Furthermore, the snacks and afternoon tea was delicious and presented very well. I had so much fun doing the travel photo shoot at the hotel, and watched in awe as the sun rose over the mountain very morning."

"I saw the excellent online ratings and reviews for this hotel, and even though it's new, there was no 'new renovation' smell. The room was clean and hygienic. I initially booked it thinking I'd just try it out and switch if it wasn't good, but the moment the staff opened the door, I instantly decided to stay. And I wasn't disappointed! The hotel's decor and layout felt meticulous and thoughtful, while also being incredibly aesthetic. Inside the room, there were even three types of insect repellents: an electric mosquito swatter, mosquito repellent spray, and mosquito coils. There was also a weighing scale, and it came with a washing machine and laundry supplies. Plus, the surrounding environment outside is exceptionally beautiful. I have to say, the owner truly knows how to pick a location! From my room, I could see the distant mountain views and the charming close-up scenery. Looking out the window, it felt like the window itself was a viewfinder – simply stunning! The room offers incredible value for money! This is also the most detail-oriented hotel or homestay I've ever stayed in. Both the room itself and the staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The staff's service awareness is top-notch; they truly went above and beyond to fulfill requests and resolve issues promptly. I particularly want to commend the owner – they are incredibly thorough in their planning, swift in problem-solving, and personally very approachable and friendly. I genuinely recommend everyone choose this hotel for their stay!"

"Our stay at this hotel left only wonderful memories! The room was huge. Two huge beds. Heated floors. Excellent water pressure in the shower. The view from the hotel is simply gorgeous. The old town of Baisha is just a 5-minute walk away. For breakfast, they serve the most delicious mushroom noodles in the world. The woman at the reception was very nice and always ready to help!
