Hotel Nikko Kaohsiung was the perfect hotel for us in Kaohsiung. It's in a quiet location in the Asia New Bay Area, a few minutes' walk to 2 light rail stations (C7-Software Technology Park and C8-Kaohsiung Exhibition Center) and 1 Metro Red Line station (R8-Sanduo Shopping District). There's a 7-11 and Family Mart directly in front of it for any drink, snack, or toiletry needs. An MWD outlet is also close by for a good breakfast, if you don't want to spend on the breakfast buffet every morning. Room service dining is available and reasonably priced, though the options are limited. Both the check-in and check-out processes went very smoothly. We arrived a few hours before check-in, but the reception staff let us go through the check-in process and leave our bags. When we returned from exploring the neighborhood, we simply collected our keys from reception and found our bags waiting for us in our room. The lap pool area was quite relaxing to hang out at. The only thing missing is a milk tea shop around the corner.

Super clean room, I am a germaphobe and I approve the hygiene and cleanliness of this hotel, some how better than some of the 4-5 stars international branded hotel (except some common area at the snack bar at ground floor was sticky). 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The staff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻: were friendly and nice, with high quality customers (mainly locals in Taiwan). Makes me feel home! Location 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻: a “real local” night market nearby, about 6 mins of walk, 10 mins walk to Sanduo MRT(accessible exit (15 mins if you walk slow)). 3 departments stores within 10 mins walk. Value for money 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻: free self laundry, breakfast, supper, parking and snacks bar in the common area. One of the 2 hotels on my list of accommodation for Kaohsiung lol… … the other one is intercontinental kaohsiung 🤑🤑🤑

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Wonderful staff! Whether it's the concierge employees at level 1, or the check-in staff at level 20, or the breakfast staff, everyone is polite and helpful. Fantastic service and facilities. Breakfast is amazing. Everything is perfect, and I strongly encourage visitors to Kaohsiung to stay at H2O hotel!

Facilities of hotel near top niche conditions, probably due to recent renovation or opening. Room is spacious for two. Services of front desk are helpful. Even took time trying to help our cell phone connection issues. Breakfast, although vegetarian only, is tasty and offered a wide variety of choices. Disappointed is about the noises caused by unruly neigbouring guests late at night.

It is situated rather close to airport, hence a bit far from everything else, especially good food. However is of walking distance to some major Japanese department store. The main thing of note is the lobby is situated on the 25th floor. One take one lift up to lobby and then another lift to rooms every time. The rooms were spacious, but the bottom of beds were not vacuum for days. Amenities were minimal and do not reflect on price of room. Electrical sockets were limited and USB sockets don’t work. Many of the decorations in the hotel or the rooms are not suitable for kids. The building itself seems new as many shops at low levels are not open or only at certain times. Hotel staff didn’t mention or introduce the surroundings at all during check-in. House keeping staff were courteous and hard working. Lobby staff was not friendly. Reception was spent most of the time reminding rules, rather than welcoming. Their lobby bar is a cigar bar and the reminded me they only have expensive whiskey and no wine by the glass. The staff from tea place with the stunning view of the city reminded me they are closing soon. The ground concierge was not welcoming nor helpful except for one girl who nodded every time we enter the building. The pool staff and lobby staff corrected my mandarin a few times. Lastly, the was an incident at the pool, as I heard a boy stepped on a piece of glass. There was a lot of blood. I cannot comprehend why there was a piece of glass not cleaned by the pool. There are two restaurants by the pool and one of them was a bar. Overall, it is a nice hotel. But the software is far from up to par or this price.

We stayed at 2 bed room suite and really enjoyed the view from the big windows. My daughter loves exploring the rooms and looking out of the window. She still talks about going back to Kaohsiung Marriott as she loves the room. We also love how the hotel is connected to a shopping mall with good restaurants, an indoor children playground and a good book store. Breakfast was of good variety and we chose to have breakfast at the main restaurant everyday. Lounge is also nice, although the breakfast variety is less. My only disappointment would be the kids club as I don't think it is well equipped, in comparison to other 5 stars or 4 stars hotels. It is more like a room with some toys (building blocks and a broken kitchen) and the children fought over the toys. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and hope to return in the future.

Great Location, just 1 min walk from the metro station. Check in at 30F, Guest rooms are from 23th to 29th floors. Elevators are excruciating long, especially when one of them was under repair when I was there. I got a bigger room, without window. Breakfast was passable, there is a small lounge area at the restaurant area for all guests, offering small snacks and some beverages.

Het uitzicht is 100 punten. Je kunt het landschap van Kaohsiung zien. Ik kan het van harte aanbevelen. Het personeel is goed. Ik had wat problemen bij het inchecken. Maar het personeel hielp snel en vriendelijk om het probleem op te lossen. Hoewel het een lastminutereservering was, was ik zeer tevreden. Ik verblijf hier de volgende keer dat ik naar Kaohsiung ga. Ik hoop dat de Gaolou Bar snel opengaat. Ik kijk ernaar uit ^^

Het hotel ligt op minder dan vijf minuten van uitgang 3 van het centraal station van Kaohsiung. De kamer is eenvoudig en warm, waardoor je je vanaf het moment dat je binnenstapt ontspannen voelt. Het bed is ongelooflijk zacht en comfortabel, en ik heb de hele nacht heerlijk geslapen, alsof ik in een zachte omhelzing was gewikkeld. Of je nu op reis bent of gewoon ontspant op vakantie, deze plek is perfect! Mijn favoriete ding is het adembenemende uitzicht vanuit vogelperspectief op de groene heuvels. Alleen al tien minuten kijken naar de zonsopgang en zonsondergang is genoeg om je de schoonheid en overvloed van het leven te laten voelen! Kamer 605 is fantastisch.

I would recommend this location to everyone : family couples … etc if there is an issue they will promptly help . Attitude super friendly . Definitely I will come over here over and over again. Quiet
