Park City Hostel: Bed In 6 or 8 Bed Dorm

Great atmosphere, location and amenities offered here. The kitchen is fully fledged with EVERYTHING you could possibly need to cook. You could probably film an episode of master chef in this place. Board games galore, billiards, Netflix on the TV, bars, restaurants and nightlife all surrounding this place. The SLC airport is also a quick drive (Roughly 40min without traffic), which makes it a great first or last stop. I went in October when the winter season had not begun yet and it was a quiet experience with a few travelers but mostly hostel volunteers hanging around. This was a good thing for me since my friend and I were just looking for an affordable place to stop over before ending our trip and flying out of SLC. It is definitely a seasonal location, so if you are planning to stay here for during the ski/snowboarding season then expect it to be very busy because that is definitely their bread and butter. So expect a rowdy and bustling environment in the winter months, and a calm and laid back vibe during the offseason months.

I stayed two nights a Friday & Saturday in July for the low price I did not know what to expect. I found the check in process seamless and was given a tour of the Premises. Everything has a place and the building is spotless. I love the 24 hour access and free parking included. The fully stocked kitchen and spacious common area is outstanding. There are 3 levels to the building. Two excellent Balconies on the top floor. If you have a chance watch the Summer Sun rise from the East Balcony at Sun rise of course. I was lucky enough to have a mostly full moon in the background on Saturday. You can store your bicycle or other equipment. It is also very close to multiple bus stop's a free system in Park City. Do no hesitate to stay here highly recommend.

Staff is incredible, helpful, professional, curious and friendly. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The common area was clean, well seasoned with games, work areas, power for devices, a great kitchen, etc. I've traveled much of the world and stayed at a lot of hostals. This was more like a nice hotel. Book your stay at The Park City Hostal. You will not be disappointed.

Quaint and clean The staff was friendly. Other occupants in building were friendly as well. Nearby bus stop. Maps and suggestions on site. Different activities provided each night. Room was clean and comfortable for 2. Had mini fridge in room.

Honest to God Review I recently stayed at Park City Hostel. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly staff, who happened to be the owner, Nick. Nick showed me around and I was impressed with the hostel building. It was clean and on the higher end with a pool table and games in the common area. The bathrooms and room were clean and spacious, and everyone was really friendly, including the volunteers and the Front door receptionist, Messy. However, there was an Indian guy there who brought his new puppy into the common area for 5 minutes at around 10 pm. The rules clearly state that no pets of any kind are allowed into the hostel. Dogs, cats, and, especially, puppies are dangerous to us humans, and we need to protect ourselves against any threats, including allergies. Immediately, we all put on our Hazmat suits when we saw that 6-week-old puppy enter the building. The manager, a redhead, did a great job of kicking out the Indian guy along with his dangerous puppy. Good job to the manager! She needs to be promoted immediately! Also, the manager is very attentive. She will leave work and go home to her apartment to look at the cameras throughout the hostel. I felt really safe since we were all being closely watched. But that's not it. While at work, the red head is a guest DJ and will blast hardcore metal music for the guests' pleasure. What more can you ask for in a Hostel?

The staff was super friendly, the common area had a lot of entertaining things to do as well as a lot of space for food storage and cooking, the decor was very cozy, there were a lot ov recommendations for things to do nearby including restaurants, and the room was fantastic.
