Hôtel Istria by Magna Arbor

Не первый раз останавливаюсь, потому что нравится расположение, на тихой улочке. И очень приветливый персонал на ресепшен!! Один минус ( и это проблема многих небольших отелей Парижа) горничные, они очень любят занимать лифт своим оборудованием ! Когда ты без чемодана это не проблема, лестница тоже подойдет, но с чемоданами…очень неудобно

Habitué de cet hotel ou je descends regulierement quand j’ai des examens à passer. Chambre reservée et payée pour une personne du vendredi 6 au samedi 7 mai 22. A mon arrivée, on me reclame ( et je regle) 2 fois la taxe alors qu’une seule personne n’occupe la chambre! De plus, alors que cela ne se pratiquait pas antérieurement, le veilleur de nuit exige de numeriser ma carte d’identité : je refuse . A partir de ce moment, l’accueil est plus que desagréable. Le plus scandaleux est que je devais sejourner à nouveau dans cet hotel 48h après; j’avais donc reservé et payé une chambre sur leur site ( non remboursable, non annulable par mes soins) du dimanche 8 au lundi 9 mai 22 OR je reçois un mail indiquant que l’hotel ANNULE ma réservation! A fuir!!!! Visité en mai

Très accueillant et propres aucun dérangement .

Room was comfortable, but the twin beds are very small. Bathroom could do with a shower door rather than a plastic curtain. Also very small, you have to be careful not to burn yourself on the radiator whilst using the sink. We had no hot water on the first day. Room information states mini bar - it was an empty fridge, not even a bottle of water was supplied. In room tea and coffee facilities are also very poor. Location is good but overpriced for what it is. Needs to be upgraded or lower the price.

My mom stayed at this hotel on a separate trip and when I found myself with a few extra days in Paris, she highly recommended this one. Great restaurants all around and prime location near the metro. Very safe and quiet and the rooms are exactly as offered. Definitely French sizing, but when in Paris, you only need a hotel room to sleep otherwise you're out exploring and having fun. Perfect spot to come back to!

Brief stay at the Istria. Great location - one block from Blvd. Montparnasse, twenty yards from the Raspail Métro stop. Hôtel is clean, with small rooms typical of older Paris hotels. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially when dealing with jet-lagged Americans.

Small boutique style hotel in a quiet street in Montparnasse, very close to Raspail métro station. Shops, restaurants, street market and tourist attractions all within a 5-10 minute stroll. The hotel is quite historic, with links to the artists, poets and composers of early 20th century Montparnasse. 24hour front desk, lift, refreshments available for a small sum in the lobby. Our room was on the fourth floor overlooking the street, view of Montparnasse Tower. The room was small, as expected, but was freshly decorated, theme of Josephine Baker, (who probably didn't stay here!). It was perfectly clean, well equipped (kettle, minibar fridge, safe) , though only hangers for clothes and a very small desk/table. Bathroom also small, with shower and toilet. Very little room to turn round, put things, and not possible to sit straight on the loo. Some of the fittings were a little loose (loo and electric socket covers, and one of the bedside sockets didn't work). We mentioned this to front desk. Plenty of other sockets in working order, though. Bed was very comfortable, slept well. Altogether, a charming, convenient place to stay for your culture -themed city break.

The hotel was lovely. Great location, just a few minutes' walk from the Raspail metro station. Inside was very comfortable, sleek and streamlined, and nicely decorated.

Small cute hotel off the main street. My room was clean. Very close to Metro and RER B line.
