Good location,very good breakfast.near sightseeing spots.

Melia Vendome is located in the high-end shopping district. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a larger room with separate shower and bath tub plus a couch/sitting area and 2 TVs. Room was very nice and roomy. My only complaint is that the beds are not comfortable.

This is our third trip to Paris, this time celebrating our 25th Anniversary. We picked this hotel because of location and the brand name. We hit the jackpot on both. Place Vendôme is in the very heart of Paris, close to the Louvre and to the Opera. Melia is a well-know luxury hotel brand. But our review is not about the location or the hotel chain. It is about the people who work in Melia Vendôme Hotel. We felt welcomed, from the first minute. We stayed for 18 nights and every morning we saw the front desk staff with a greeting and a smile. The manager send a card and a gift for our anniversary several times during our stay, and that made us feel grateful. The small details are the ones that leave you great memories forever. We would like to thank all Melia Vendôme personnel for their kindness during our stay.

I would only recommend this hotel for location and staff, property is very old and not worth for the money. Rooms are very old and tiny. Breakfast had little option. Although i stayed in the hotel for a night but it was not a great experience. However staffs were friendly and helpful.

We had booked two premium rooms for ourselves and our two tween girls through our Costco package, with specific request for joining rooms. They were able to accommodate this, and had us in a pair of rooms on the top floor, connected by a shared living space with a couch and round table for four. There was a nice welcome note along with some complimentary macarons and juice in greeting. We went during our American spring break, and arrived on a morning flight. The rooms were not available for us then, but they were able to hold our luggage while we went to get some lunch and explore the nearby areas. By the time we returned, they had already bought our luggage up to our adjoining rooms. It was unseasonably warm in the mid 60Fs on the day of our arrival and fairly warm in the rooms, even after opening all the windows. The rooms did have heat, but did not appear to have air-conditioning. The hotel staff came to check on us maybe 30 minutes after we arrived to the room to see how we were settling in, and we were able to ask for a couple of fans at that time, which did help. The weather for remainder of our stay was cooler in the mid 40s to 50s, and the room temperature was pleasant with occasionally opening the windows with no further need for the fans after that first day. I can see how at least these top floor rooms can be really warm in the summer. The included breakfast variety was moderate size, and my kids loved their croissants and pains au chocolat every morning. In addition to a variety of juices along with champagne, they had a couple of instant espresso machines. Staff was very accommodating when we asked for soy, asking even if we wanted it warmed or cold, to have with our espresso. There was one morning when we were running behind for a tour and didn’t have time to sit for breakfast, and they were kind enough to give us a bag of takeaway croissants for everyone when we just wanted to make sure the kids got something. Great location for the hotel. If we were being ambitious, could walk to many sites within 15 to 20 minutes, including the Louvre, Arc de Triomphé via champs d’Élysée, Tuilleries gardens and musée d’Orsay. Metro station across the street and RER C station (Invalides) to the to Versailles was one stop away. As there were some chilly and rainy days, we did use Uber, which had no problem finding our location for pick up and drop off. Many food options nearby, we loved and ate at a small bistro Le Florentin twice. The front desk staff also was able to get us reservations for Le Capucine and recommended Flottes. A Pierre Hermé, Ladurée and Angelina were all within two blocks, so we definitely got to try plenty of sweet treats! We also found an express supermarket (Monop) to pick up some snacks, fruit and drinks. Very nice staff, great location, would certainly recommend to family and friends and return for any future visits to Paris!

The location is excellent , minutes from Place Vendome and an easy walk to the Louvre , Musee d’Orsay, and nearby metro station . Staff were all very helpful and pleasant and a nice breakfast buffet but no evening restaurant although plenty nearby . Room was rather small but perfectly adequate for us . Separate small toilet from ensuite shower room which might prove awkward for those with mobility issues . Bearing in mind the.location excellent value I felt , we would stay here again when next in Paris .

All the team members homework at the reception (front desk) they are really helpful, polite kind and they are doing really good services. to ask them for help. They always help by recommending me to go to good restaurants good places to visit in Paris as I promised them, I will mention their names because they deserve to be awarded their names are. It’s the second time I went to this hotel on a business trip. Whereas last time I had a very nice customer experience and the reception staff was welcoming and friendly, this time I had a rather unpleasant experience. At check-in things started of badly as after having handed over my ID I was asked to fill myself in additional personal data myself on a newly installed gadget, a tablet. I asked receptionist why I would have to fill in on a tiny screen my birthdate, address, phone number and email address if all of this had already been provided at my last visit and on top was available on my ID card I had just given them and was all included in my business reservation. The repo se from an rather unfriendly staff member was that this is the procedure and the Tablet had been installed last month. I told them that their tablet gadget may be helping them to do less work and let their customers do it l, but that I wouldn’t fill it in for them. At this point the manager had joined the two receptionists and the situation was bizarre as I was facing 3 members of staff wanting me to do their work. I offered them that I would leave the hotel and go next door to another hotel and I was even prepared to pay for the room. The manager eventually seemed to have understood my point and apologized for the inconvenience. It’s a shame that someone in their management seemed to have had a great idea to digitalize their check-in procedure but obviously hasn’t checked what customers would say about doing the job of their staff. All this has nothing to do with the hotel which is well located, clean with nice rooms, but please dear Amelia management: read this and think before you come up with such weird ideas. I haven’t decided yet if I will be back in a month from now for my next visit.

Location was perfect. Hotel and staff were great. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Paris!!
