Hotel le 18 Paris

Our first visit to Paris, we chose this hotel because it was so near the metro and tram service, what a lovely welcome from reception, room small as expected but I have to say a very comfortable bed and the best towels, shower gel safe and enough storage. The area is probably not the best for a solo traveler but as a couple ok. But the staff are very helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant stay and keep up the good work.

Hôtel au calme dans une petite rue mais à proximité du métro. Accueil agréable Petit déjeuner peu varié mais suffisant. Chambre petite mais très propre par contre ascenseur miniscule surtout avec des bagages

Je pense que l'environnement autour de l'hôtel est important : Bien desservi que cela soit en bus (80 - 95 cela dépend où vous voulez aller) ou en métro avec le 12 (arrêt Jules Joffrin) et le 4 (arrêt Clignancourt). Meilleure fréquentation du côté métro 12 que 4. Surtout le soir/la nuit. Très bons restaurants dans la rue Letort de l'hôtel toujours côté métro 12. 15 à 20 min de la rue Lepic : rue très commerçante avec restaurants, cafés, salons de thé... Concernant l'hôtel je vais essayer d'être factuelle : - Assez étroit - Pas d'explications sur pourquoi il fallait repayer sur place. Nous pensions avoir payer en ligne. Or il s'avère qu'il s'agissait d'une réservation et pas d'un paiement malgré que l'on nous a demandé les coordonnées de cartes bancaires...au final c'était bien une simple réservation en ligne ...donc à savoir ! De plus sur place nous avons du payer plus cher que prévu. Sachez qu'il s'agit des taxes de séjour. Le gars ne savaient pas. Ils disaient non c est le prix. - Lits confortables - Nous étions côtés interne / pas côté rue donc pas de bruits - Salle de bain : gros gros gros bémol ! Petite est très froide car pas de chauffage. Petite histoire dessus : on arrive, on s'installe, on passe une nuit. Le matin la femme de ménage nous demande si elle veut qu'elle fasse la chambre. On lui a dit non c'est bon on vient d'arriver. Nous pensions que le chauffage restait activé la journée dans les chambres. On voit que le sèche serviettes ne fonctionne pas. On demande et la réponse :"le mécanicien est en congé aujourd'hui, donc demain cela sera réglé". 2 ieme nuit passe. Le lendemain après le retour de la journée, pas de chambre faite...Or là nos serviettes étaient froides humides de la veille.. donc on demande si le mécanicien est venu et réponse : "ah non mais certains chauffages ne fonctionnent pas c est normal". Et il a fallu trois tentatives pour avoir un petit chauffage d'appoint. En vrai c'est faisable, je ne suis pas frileuse mais je partais toute la journée dans Paris de 7h à minuit en sachant que c'était l'hiver avec la pluie le froid... J'avais envie de rentrer dans une chambre chaude. Donc j'ai regardé les critères pour avoir 3 étoiles et cela se base sur les superficies des chambres mais je n'ai pas vu sur le service / l'accueil ...en tout cas pour 3 étoiles je ne m'attendais pas à tout ça. Je suis déçue. D'habitude je vais aux Ibis bah c est beaucoup mieux c est même incomparable ... Et pour le petit déj' 15 euros c'est trop cher pour ce que j'ai vu ... Voilà comme je suis déçue j'ai mis 1 étoile sur 5 car j'ai connu mieux avec moins d'étoiles ...

quelle décèption , a fuir , quartier sale , dangereux , les chambres sont toutes petites , aucune vue sur le sacré coeur , les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité. le seul point positif personnel adorable , heureusement.

The amenities did not meet the advertised standards. Specifically, the air conditioning in my room was non-functional, causing discomfort due to high temperatures that hindered my ability to sleep comfortably. Despite promptly informing your staff of this issue, no action was taken to address it. It is reasonable to expect a hotel to maintain rooms at a comfortable temperature, and the failure to do so significantly diminished the quality of my stay. This problem persisted throughout my entire stay, despite my timely communication with your staff. Moreover, it was only on the final day of my stay that I received a remote control, preventing me from using the satellite TV until then. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room upon arrival was subpar.

Close to Metro. In a quiet street that I wouldn’t walk down alone at night but fine in daytime. The bed & bedding was SO comfortable and expensive feeling. The area has anything you need close by. The hotel was undergoing a bit of a refurbishment. I would recommend.

The hotel is currently facing challenges with bed bug infestations, and there appears to be a lack of adequate response from the staff. Upon my arrival, I encountered bed bugs in my room, prompting me to request an immediate checkout and compensation. Unfortunately, my request was not accommodated..

Fabulous little hotel. Receptionist ‘Lisa’ was most helpful and went over and above, a wonderful asset to this hotel. Breakfast was 15€ and worth every cent, continental and tasty. Hotel on the whole was immaculate. 2 mins from metro, lovely little bakeries, fast food, shops, supermarkets and restaurants right on doorstep. Ideal for a short break away.

Clean rooms and comfy bed and pillows. Guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Lift not big enough for family. Pram does not fit in the lift so had to fold it every time which is annoying if your baby is asleep and you’ve to disturb them after a long day. Dodgy looking characters outside the hotel and ******* in and out of the lift also as one receptionist was on their phone to a friend and wasn’t paying attention. Cot had no mattress. Maid kindly put down sheets without being asked. Heating would only turn on sometimes. No English language channels on TV. Location is great right beside Lidl, Intermarche, McDonalds, KFC, and Metro. Receptionist on 2nd day was really rude. As soon as we got downstairs she quizzed us quite aggressively about having our child on our booking. Then when she realised that she was on our booking she was as nice as pie, very fake and clearly wanted to get more money out of us.
