Hotel les Deux Gares

Dit is een schattig klein hotel direct naast Gare du Nord en Gare l'Est. We verbleven voor een vroege trein en het was een perfecte plek om dicht bij de treinstations te zijn. Decor is super schattig en modern. Onze kamer was eigenzinnig en de gele badkamer was geweldig Arco bij de receptie was geweldig en behulpzaam. Neem echter niet de waterfles - we vroegen het en het kostte 50 €!

I am recommended this hotel by my friend who lives in Paris. The hotel is located nearby Gare du Nord and Gare de East. If you have lots of plan to outside of Paris include of Charles De Gaulle Airport by train, it will be great location for you I think. The hotel managers are so good and I feel very comfort and kindness. Facilities are good in the hotel, especially this place has gym too. You can go Le Marais in 10min by foot.

Hotel is conveniently located to trains and metro. Room was spacious. Cleaned every day with fresh towels. Did not try the breakfast but a great cafe across from the train station.

Nice comfortable hotel and staff and great central location but of course central city locations also have the noise and dirt that comes with a central city location

The hotel is great and staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately not the best area as it is between the 2 stations.

Very nice hotel, really friendly staff. Interesting decor. Very close to two main train stations, lots of good bistros around.

This hotel was ver misrepresented online. The area seemed unsafe. It was just me, a mom, and my young son. . When we first arrived, I asked the receptionist yes, there was another hotel entrance one we entered, seemed like it was in a very sketchy area, and he told me not to worry because they have someone there 24 hours a day which suggested to me that they knew it was not safe. There was a concert DIRECTLY outside our window that sounded like it was INSIDE our room. It was represented as a family friendly hotel online with a friendly staff, accessible snacks and drinks, etc. . We had little to no supplies in our room. No water. We were told we had a full mini fridge and had 2 beers and a coke. I went downstairs and asked reception to buy a water and he argued with me and told me I had a full bar despite my telling him otherwise. I asked if I could buy some water and he angrily said no and go to my room and look again. We felt too unsafe to leave the room. We had an international flight the next day and music was blaring until 11. I asked to move to another room and was told no. At 11, I went down and told them I was checking out and going to another hotel and they refused to refund me and told me I actually owed THEM $5. I said I was not paying anything else and the reception guy tried to lock me in the hotel by locking the main door which they apparently operate after a certain time at night. I insisted he let me out as I had another hotel booked and an Uber outside.

A beautiful renovation ruined by very poor maintenance. Our room had an overwhelming smell of mould, damp and cleaning products. There was visible water damage and bubbling paint work. Fortunately we could open the window to air out the smell. Convenient locations for the stations but not much else. You wouldn't like Paris if you spent your whole time here. The TV has a streaming connection box but it doesn't work and the receptionist didn't even know what I was talking about. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

Hotel is conveniently next to Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, looks great but staff were not very professional.
