Hotel Eiffel XV

Great location, right by the metro station Friendly reception staff. The room was small and too dark. Cleaning was terrible, bathroom was filthy.

I saw really bad comments related to rooms not clean, but mine was very clean. It is true that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator so be prepared to lift your own luggage for 5 floors.

Very friendly staff, basic room but only needed for one night. Able to leave the luggage whilst we explored the city after we checked out. The only downside were the pillows, on the small side and very soft. We could have probably asked for extra but didn’t bother. Major plus only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro station.

We came to Hotel Eiffel XV August 2023. The rooms are clean, cleaners come everyday, Hot water and Clean beds. Rooms are spotless. AC worked constantly and was well needed with the heat. There was no issue with cleanliness. Only issue is there is 5 floors and no lift and the rooms are extremely standard nothing fancy. But if that doesn’t bother you, location is 10/15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower, less than 5 minute walk to metro, and there’s a lovely restaurant Amfali less than a minute away and the food is lovely and everyone is friendly. Be aware when booking there’s some rooms with no private bathroom, I never realised when booking (my own fault) and had to upgrade room. I assumed all rooms had access as the photos for the room I had booked had photos of a bathroom (looked like it was private from photos). There is the option for private just extra charge. Overall everything was clean, location was good, and staff were friendly, just no lift and really standard room. (And the private bathroom that mightn’t be an issue for some people just I never realised myself when booking incase some people don’t realise and the rooms with private bathrooms are gone when you check in) . Lovely clean rooms with comfortable bed. Eiffel Tower was just a walk away. The service and quality of the rooms was great. The bed was extremely clean snd fresh and the cleaner came daily, the water was hot in the bathroom and the shower was a power shower. The room was clean and well kept, the staff at reception were present 24 hrs, would definetly recommend this hotel to other travellers as it's location and high standrds were exemplary.

Room & bathroom was an Ok size for a couple Staff were very friendly and very welcoming very close to eiffel tower and the metro Tv abit small but can connect to firestick very loud and the room was not sound proof at all-Could hear people using the toilets above and next door, Can hear people walking up& down the stairs CLEANERS were extremely noisy The constant smell of smoking in the hallway(not very pleasant) A/C would stay on for a maximum 10 seconds and then turn off- had to leave window open all night Bathroom wasn’t the cleanest Lost of stairs to walk up to- No lift No mention of having food or breakfast Pillows weren’t pillows they were cushions very small and hard Felt uncomfortable as the main doors were left open and not locked 24/7

Overall, not the best experience, but not the worst. The photos made it seem this hotel was nicer than it actually is. No elevator and the stairs are very narrow. There’s no fridge or microwave in the room. Extremely small tv and small bathroom. The only positives that it is close to the metro so easy to travel anywhere. As well as there are a lot of food options in the area. The bed was comfortable and the sheets was clean. But I would not recommend this hotel. Just because at the price that this hotel is at is not worth it.

Nice hotel, close to the Eiffel — even though there’s not a view from the hotel. We walked and scootered everywhere during our stay. The staff were lovely. Bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would like, hairs all over the walls and the tub drain was clogged. But otherwise quite clean. The hotel manager was SHOUTING on the phone early in the morning on our last day waking us up— FOH offered us brekky as compensation which was kind. Overall great stay

Good position for metro and near the tour eiffel
