Teleurgesteld, geen licht in de kamer, de wastafel in de badkamer verstopt en het water uit de leidingen kwam naar buiten, schimmel in de douche en de muren van de kamer, het dekbedovertrek bevlekt, overal stof en het vreselijke uitzicht zeer slecht geluiddicht, het ergste hotelkamer geen 4 sterren waardig?

Schone plaats. Graad 2+ Ontbijt voldoende voor Duitse normen. RANG 3+ Gedeeltelijk ongekwalificeerd personeel bij de receptie Graad 3- Extreem ver van het centrum/Eiffeltoren. 30 minuten rijden met auto en metro. Parkeertarief uur 5,00 tot 6,00 euro Metro dagkaart 12,00 euro per persoon. Geen gezinskaart beschikbaar.

Rustige, schone kamer, vlakbij metro. Supermarkt voor het hotel Personeel beschikbaar en gastvrij.

Le séjour s’est bien passé. Le personnel était top et accueillant

We had a great stay here. Would have been 5 stars except for a couple of small issues, which I will explain. The staff are friendly and speak great English. We were a little perplexed by reviews saying the English was poor here. However, we are native speakers so it may be more difficult for people whose spoken English is not so good? The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. We loved the shower - really roomy, great water pressure, and good temperature control. The location was perfect for us because we don’t like to stay in the middle of a busy tourist area. There is a supermarket next door and lots of restaurants (we recommend Le Four for great pizza!) To get into central Paris it is a five minute walk to the metro and about a 15 minute metro ride to the centre. Easy! They do reserve €50 on your card, but this is quite common and it is not the first time a hotel has asked for this. They do also give you the option of leaving this deposit in cash instead, to be repaid when you leave. There were a couple of things that meant we could not give five stars. The first is that we had an adjoining door in the room. This is probably for guests who may be staying together in separate rooms or families. Unfortunately, we could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door, including this couple’s *ahem* ‘adult cuddles’. Always a risk in hotels but the door was so thin that it felt like a ménage à quatre at times. We did have a giggle about it, but it was not ideal and we had to put music on sometimes to try and feel alone in the room. The second thing was the pillows. They were rather uncomfortable. The third is a minor issue but the coffee in the room could be better for a 4* hotel. Nescafé is not the best coffee and we bought our own from the supermarket next door instead. Overall though, we would recommend this place as a good quality hotel for the price and we really enjoyed our stay. Paris is notoriously expensive and has some of the smallest hotel room space in the world. That’s standard for Paris. So to have somewhere clean and affordable in such an expensive city was great.

Airconditioning doesn't seem to work, bedsheets while clean had stains on them. But room was clean and staff friendly.

Great hotel. Do consider this hotel as it is very good and clean! Great breakfast and staff. The location is 5/7 minutes walk to the metro station and near by the hotel great local restaurants, shops and supermarkets. A great choice to explore Paris.
