Alecos Hotel Apartments

This is a great Hotel/Apar**ents to stay in. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Especially Anna on reception, she is such a nice person and a great asset to this Hotel. There is a bar and restaurant which serves really nice food and good entertainment. The location is great as its only less than five minutes walk to the seafront, and there are lots of bars and restaurants beside you. Will be returning soon to Alecos Hotel. Arthur Northern Ireland

This is our 2nd time to this hotel. It’s perfect location & within walking distance. They have done up the pool area and it looks loads better.

The hotel is nice and clean The beds are very hard and uncomfortable The TV doesn’t have any English channels The Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms The noise is very loud from nearby disco. Apart from the above it is a nice hotel The hotel is only a ten minute walk from the harbour which will be great when they finish it lots of dangerous pavement work going on and certainly not one for wheelchairs

I booked with Jet2 for a family break with my wife and daughter. Firstly this is the cheapest hotel available in Cyprus on Jet2 and is 3 star so we didn't expect luxury. We were shown to room A101 in the notorious block A (read other reviews) this is the block that contains the 1 bed apar**ents, the other blocks are studios and private. The room stunk of cigarette smoke and the bathroom was dirty however we opened the windows and requested the bathroom to be cleaned and headed out to dinner. We arrived back around 10, went to bed and discovered the sheets covered in cigarette burns. At 11:30 booming bass from the adjacent nightclub started and didnt stop until 5:30 - this is not bar noise, the adjacent Club Rainbow nightclub's basement extends under block A and the bass physically shakes the room making sleep impossible, my daughter thought it was someone drilling the walls! I cannot emphasise enough how loud and unbearable this was. The next morning after no sleep i requested a room change but was told that no other 1 bed apar**ents were available and we could only move to a studio which was not appropriate for our family. I contacted Jet2 and requested a hotel change and was told this would take 24 hours so we needed to stay in Alecos one more night, this was impossible so i booked one night out of my own pocket in the hotel we were due to move to the following day, we moved to Paphos Gardens and had a wonderful next 6 days in Paphos. I have since been fully refunded by Jet2 for the accommodation and i have been told that the hotel is under urgent review due to mine and other complaints received. If you are booking a studio in Block C then im sure this accommodation is fine as its in a central location and cheap and cheerful. Unless you intend to party until the early hours then a stay in Block A apar**ents will be hell. Please read the other 1 star reviews that back this up. I do feel for the hotel as the nightclub is not their fault and they were very apologetic however the bathroom was disgusting and all towels and sheets desperately need replacing.

Went here on a Jet2 holiday. It’s a cheap and cheerful place. This is basic accommodation so you can’t expect too much. Jenny on reception was lovely and does a lot of work helping cats too. George checked us in and showed us our room. Big room, settee, tv, table n chairs. Balcony with chairs. Clean pool and sun beds. Lots of parking if needed. Cleaners were very nice. Good bar/restaurant attached. My only problem was it was a bit too noisy at night from the music in bar street and the entertainment in the on site bar, but had read this before I went. So had a lovely time

Not a bad place to stay. We were here for 5 nights. Room got cleaned beds made usual routine. Pool area small, but okish x can't complain about the stay. Only thing really was pressure in shower wasn't strong. Otherwise all ok. I stayed in room d204 so didn't hear the noise from clubs as a lot are saying. There a lot of cats as well.

We booked this as a package with Jet2 and for the price paid we didn’t have high expectations but in fact we were pleasantly surprised. The accommodation is basic but clean and the staff are very friendly. We had booked B&B and the breakfast was served in the adjoining bar (Friends) and although from a very limited menu everything was freshly cooked and tasty. We ate our first and last meal there and the food was good and reasonably priced as were the drinks. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the fact that we only received clean towels once during the 7 days.

We have just returned from a lovely 18 night stay at the Alecos apar**ents. Would highly recommend if you want a cheap and cheerful holiday. The rooms are basic with cooking facilities but my partner is Jamaican and he managed to cook us a beautiful meal almost every night..(even the local cats had some 🥰) The staff are friendly and your room is swept and mopped every day, New toilet roll etc. I went to the pool everyday which was quiet small but for the time of year we went it was fine as only myself and a few other people there although the weather was still beautiful 28-30 degrees. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back next year. Jenny on reception is soo lovely, she took us another lady whom we had made friends with to the Sea you bar on the bus as she had just finished her shift. Don't go by the negative comments, if you want a 5* then pay for a 5* but honestly we loved it here. You get what you pay for. Xx Natasha & Paul See you next year 😁🌞
