Palm Springs RV Resort

This was our first time staying in a cabin 2 adults, 3 children. There was room for all of us. We had a blast. We will definitely be coming back!

Last minute online reservation made it easy to pause in our travel and get the needed rest for the night. Park Manager Dave was friendly, professional and met our needs in no time! Our first stay and it was perfect!

We really enjoy this park. The end of season BBQ was a really nice touch! Lots of spaces, pull throughs , etc. Pool, pickleball courts, horseshoes and shuffleboard. They really do need to refurbish the shuffleboard area and horseshoe pits. It would be minimal cost to resurface the shuffleboard courses and throw a coat of paint on the wood around the horseshow pits.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were amazing. And we had a wonderful stay in the desert. The weather was perfect. And the heated pool got a lot of use from us! The rv park was kept clean and was very quiet.

As a family with a young toddler we loved the amenities offered and the programs. The sites were sand and a little tight and not evenly spaced. Our neighbors were basically on top of us but then a site or two over they had twice the space.

The park is ok. Nothing special. Parking in each site is challenging. Plenty of trees and dumpster to obstruct site access. Have used Thousand Trails campgrounds throughout WA, OR, CA and AZ. This campground is definitely the most difficult to navigate.

Overall a great casual spot with clean rooms and plenty of amenities.. that landscaping crew really put a damper on my experience, but overall it was a great place to stay. But, outside of that, I would definitely book here again

Tight sites in the 30/50 A area, but a really nice park overall. Getting there on a weekday close to check in time will provide a better selection for sites. The laundry facilities were nice, as well as the pool and hot tub area. Overall the park was well maintained and tidy.

We made reservations for this location on February 23, 2024 to arrive on March 17, 2024. When we arrived at the check in point, we were told that we needed proof of insurance for our RV (A Cougar Half Ton 5th wheel). We specifically clarified that the request was for the 5th wheel and not the truck (proof of which was in the glove box), and this point was affirmed. As a matter of routine, Good Sam does not provide proof of insurance, but we thought that we might have something in the RV itself. We were, however, unable to locate any such evidence. This was on a Saturday and after hours which made our efforts to contact Good Sam unproductive. In the meantime, I did all the site setup and disconnect the truck while my wife returned to the check in point to inform them of the situation. She was told that if proof of insurance for the Cougar 5th wheel (not the truck) could not be provided then we could not remain on the premises. At this point I disconnected our RV, reconnected the truck and vacated the site. This was after a four-hour drive in heavy traffic to get there in the first place. We moved on down the road to a KOA and paid for a site there. I can understand the need to verify our truck insurance as a moving vehicle, however, the 5th wheel wasn't going anywhere once setup. Getting the proof they were requesting on a Saturday and after hours was unreasonable to say the least (again, we clarified this point with the individual at the check in). I understand that Thousand Trail RV parks are privately owned but the cost of membership is way too expensive to deal with this kind of interaction.
