Remisens Hotel Epidaurus-All Inclusive

Great hotel unfortunately full of kids and games by the pool . No adult area to relax . Beautiful sunset on the beach., good breakfast. Clean rooms

Be careful we got a cave not a room! One window 3ftx2ft to open, no balcony asked to be upgrade and pay the extra, told us they were booked up? Not very helpful, maybe of I spoke French I might have got somewhere, stay well clear!!!! Cavtat is lovely pity about this Hotel/Hostel!!

So we got to the hotel and as you walk in the view is stunning. Reception not too helpful- you don’t get entertainment information or any other chat just a card with your room number and times of meals. This hotel and hotel Albatros are twinned- no one says… and half of the entertainment is down at the other hotel only a few short mins away but still. If they refuse you drinks in there and you are all inclusive make sure you let one of the entertainment team know down there and they will sort you out. Club lookea are a French only speaking team and will only talk to you if you are French- everything is in French and they will ignore you! No translation at all!!! It was live music with a guy on a keyboard and a lady singing, or someone with an accordion! Not really for us. There’s only so much you can take! If you are going for the entertainment in the evenings- don’t. However we did meet one person who made all the difference- Vedran- photo attached, please find him if you are there, such a nice guy really inclusive and just fun all round. They are lucky to have him there he’s just a natural. Thank you Vedran, you definitely deserve a pay rise!!! Katarina who is quite new was also absolutely lovely! Also a natural! Thanks for making the effort guys. A few others at hotel epiduras I need to mention are, Stephan and Milan. These guys were at the bars and in the restaurant. Just nice guys, chatty and welcoming. Hope you get the credit you deserve! The beach is pretty much on the hotel front and sun loungers and umbrellas are free- amazing! The food is standard but they do amazing pizza! I think anyway. The cleanliness isn’t great we had huge cobwebs in our room and I think the service is in morning is to just change towels and make beds- no actual cleaning. Overall, the location is stunning with Cavtat town a 15 minute walk away. The weather was stunning and we did enjoy. Shame about the entertainment which for us was huge but managed to find our own things to do.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We stayed in to superior sea view room - super king bed really comfy with amazing sea views, very clean. Staff all really lovely. We stayed all inclusive and the food was great, freshly made and plentiful, drinks were good no complaints whatsoever. I read a lot of reviews before we traveled and I was a bit concerned but the hotel exceeded our expectations on every level. The hotel is graded a 3* but I couldn’t see why it wasn’t a 4* from quality of room, food and the stunning position on the beach. We will definitely return.

Rooms fantastic, showers always hot and beds and linen brilliant. Receptionists Monika, Snjezana, Laura and Toni very helpful and friendly and made our holiday stress free, also Dobrilo our house maid was great. Food lovely and plentiful, great location and very calm and peaceful hotel. The views were absolutely amazing from hotel as were all the staff.

We had a lovely holiday and we absolutely loved Cavtat. The hotel is in a fabulous position for the sea, all the sun beds are in an excellent spot in probably the only one of two pebble beaches and a beautiful outlook. You can see Dubrovnik from the hotel. The foyer is also lovely and large with a beautiful balcony and outlook, although it does lack atmosphere needs some quiet music maybe. The hotel does have a lot of French there but it is run by a French entertainment team, we don’t go on holiday to be surrounded by British (could stay here for that!) Most of the hotel staff were friendly, there was a particular miserable looking woman in the pool bar and the egg man in the morning looked fed up! Getting an egg was pot luck! All the rest of the staff if you smiled at them they did to you. The food and drink was mixed what was there was good quality but when they ran out it took a long time to refill. Drink was ok, it’s not a five star but we weren’t paying for a five star. The main criticism are the rooms, although clean they are very small, particularly the bathroom. It’s probably the furthest walk away from Cavtat but the walk is lovely and flat, we had a couple of evening meals in Cavtat which were lovely and as I said Cavtat is beautiful as is the location of this hotel. All in all not bad value for money.
