Jawai Leopard Safari Lodge

We had an amazing stay, place is quite and beautiful. The staff is very courteous and helps in every ***ner. The food was very desi but tasty also, they had arranged a safari for us, with good guides. Overall it was an amazing experience and would love to visit again! :-)

Do not recommend this place. The jeep safari and the jeep driver were the only nice part of the trip. Dirty room ... Full of fungus. Curtains stained and torn in places ...For rs 12000 a night this is just not acceptable. Water bottles were some unknown brand. Rustic is ok but not bad quality.

We had a very nice and relaxing stay at Jawai Leopard Safari Lodge. We felt at home. The kitchen was excellent, the service was outstanding and the nature around the hotel was very beautiful We booked the safari through the hotel and it was very well organized. We had a very good and experienced driver and guide (Mr. ***ohar) and we had great sightings of the leopards and other animals. Thank you for the best experience in India

The luxury tent was literally the best room I have ever enjoyed in India, and I have lived here twenty years. All the little things were properly organized...working outlets in the right places, a fan for the deck, perfect AC, coffeemakers d rain shower, writing desk, comfortable chair and table, two chairs on the porch looking out to the garden secluded. Loved it!

The place is very good. Slightly higher priced but the food and ambience co****sate that. People are very cooperative. Although people suggest winter but monsoon season is also very good. Binoculars may help in the sighting of leopard and crocodile.

The first thing that you notice when you turn into the Jawai Leopard Safari Lodge from the main road is the sheer isolation of the place. Tents and cottages in the middle of no where in arid leopard county. The tents and cottages are well made. We stayed in the stone cottage for a night. The cottage has the ambience that befits the surrounding area. The bed, flooring and washroom are good enough for an isolated camp but can be improved further considering the tariff of the room. There is ample storage space with drawers and a large wooden cupboard. Cleanliness and upkeep is good but can be further improved. You might find a few insects in the room given it's a desert area. The food is good and decently priced with prompt service. Do keep in mind that Rajasthan is famous for spicy food so convey your tolerance before ordering. The night time brings an eerie calm over the camp site and offers a great opportunity for star gazing with a drink or two. Do carry all your essentials and your supplies because there is nothing nearby in a few km radius.

It was amazing place very clam and the staff very co operative and so was the food, i would recommend visiting this place, also they are upgrading the property so it is going to be much of a fun place too

If you only speak English this is not the destination for you. The room was really nice, shower wasn’t great but it was hot so all good. The staff gave me no information for where and when meals took place. I had emailed 2 days before I arrived asking for them to book safaris for me but no-one had. I requested 3 safaris when I arrived and happily had the jeep to myself with a great driver ***ohar. I can’t recommend him enough. He was excellent at spotting the leopards and happy to sit quietly and wait. When a leopard was spotted up to 20 other jeeps would roar around trying to get a position and frightening the leopard back to her cave. Their behaviour was appalling imo. The poor beast is harassed relentlessly. In the frenzy 2 jeeps actually crashed. When I went to check out the staff tried to charge me for meals I had already paid for in advance. It was quite a battle to leave. The 2 young lads are doing their best with little or no training. The ***agement need a kick up the backend. They have a cheek charging 5* prices for a 3* destination.
