Premier Inn Glasgow Airport

People think that the hotel near the airport is sucks, but I think that it is great for me. Not only the location, but also food in the restaurant is great

Booked a family room but gave us a double room with 4 beds crammed into it, not a lot of spare room. Room itself was very warm and stuffy, with stains on the bedding. Front desk was rarely manned and when it was she was very unfriendly and unhelpful. In the restaurant we were told we could sit anywhere, when we chose our table we were abruptly told to move to a different one! Short of options on the food service as they didn’t have a lot of availability. Ordered a curry to be told there was no naan bread so would substitute with poppadoms, curry came with no poppadoms, then got an eye roll when asked about them. Overall, this is the worst Premier Inn experience we have had. Hotel is looking very tired and badly managed.

Sat in the dark at 6am having been awake since 2am. Room unbearably hot with aircon not working and one very hard pillow provided which has literally given me a pain in the neck. Husband can sleep on a rope and seems unaffected so sat in dark so I don’t disturb him. We also had to go and ask for towels as only one set provided. Has put me off ever staying in a premier inn again!

We have stayed here on numerous occasions, due to the close proximity to the airport. The hotel is currently being revamped and the quality of the room was excellent.

A huge 'Thank you' to Kirsty for going above and beyond what I was expecting. My diet restrictions mean there is not a lot I can eat. She meticulously went through the ingredients of every dish and prepared an alternate offering so that I could actually eat! I have stayed at a few hotels and most people are not willing to help, so this was a refreshing change. Once again thanks Kirsty + Chef at GLA airport hotel. Regards, S Jethwa.
