Valley View Resorts

4 rooms booked for us by Thomas Cook as part of the tour plan. Building with 4 rooms are behind the front building. There is no proper access to that place. We have to go behind the kitchen through a narrow place. We were told there is no one else that building, but night 11PM some of their kitchen workers knocked the front door and said they sleep upstairs. Looks like a safety issue and no watch*** for that building. Bathroom health faucet leaking, toilet seat rotating, wash basin tap also rotating. No maintenance even after the complaint. No proper dining area. How such cheap place selected by Thomas cook??

I dont know why people gave 4.5 stars here. This property is located like 10 min drive from main pahalgam market. I went with elders so I specially told them my needs. It's semi resort. This prop have 19 rooms & all rooms are actually standard. You won't get feeling of wovvvv types. Washrooms beds were clean but not very much fresh and aromatic. Beware of entering into washroom there its very uneven. Mattress was hard and heating pads was under them which offcourse give very cozy feel in chilling nights. On amenities ground there is nothing specially rather than good WiFi. Staff was hardworking specially restaurant and rest other staff seems to be like son in law (damad types) of owner. There is no depar**ent like room service, house keeping etc all calls land At reception, where majorly no 1 available. This prop have some 10 15 stairs everywhere. Quality of food was fine. Lightning in room is very poor it's like dark all around. Somewhere its gives dharamshala type feelings. Tata sky was not even recharged . There is major power cuts and good thing is there is generator and bad thing is that it's not automatic and some1 have to rush to on off it. So sometimes it's late to get electricity & you need to go out of rooms and tell them to on generators. My suggestion to owners is follow some professional ethics, primarily is to give dresses, guest don't able to identify whether it's hotel staff or not. In phalagam you won't get wovvvvv property. So it's like spending average Quality time. Out of 10 I will prefer to give 5 in total.

This is my 3rd review for Kashmir and have realised that u can expect good service only at a hotel which is 4star and above. This is an example of other 1 star hotel where u can expect nothing more than a bed u can sleep that to on the mercy of hotel that they may start Genterator or not cos this was the first time that the hotel ***ager has refused to start Genterator in day time. In the night also there was power cut but I called at the reception but there was no response from there. Food is total useless and also for the first time when we reach the restaurant at 8:45 Pm whereas the last time was 9:30 but the food was almost finish in the platters so when my wife asked refill them they replied “Raat Ko Kam Hi Khana Chahiye”, so we started eating our food but another shock was waiting for me as when I asked for more chapati we were told to have rice or it will take another 10-15 min to refill, but now All my tolerance level was at my heights so I shouted at the ***ager then they served me chapati. The rooms are below average. I recommend to book on EP plan. Book this hotel only if available at 2000/ or less or u will regret paying. No heater was available in room nor in restaurant.

Worst Experience! Never ever book this hotel. It's terrible... - Their site is misguiding though the property is having 3 cottages but it's their wish which cottage they will give you during check-in. I got 3rd cottage which they give to drivers and their staff for a stay after paying a huge amount for 2 rooms for 2 nights. I decided not to check in but the staff ensured that they will change my room in 2 hrs. Instead of 2 rooms, we occupied only 1 with the hope that our room will be changed, but sorry to say they enjoy watching tourists in such conditions, I think it gives them peace of mind... After realizing the entire situation I decided to stay for only 1 day that too occupying only 1 room due to security concerns as we felt the behavior of staff was a little strange and insecure, also no one else was staying in that building where they provided us room except their own staff on the ground floor. - We ended up adjusting in a single room sleeping on the floor with my 5-year kid and elderly parents. -Outside, it was heavily raining, and throughout the night, rain started coming into the room from the seal. It was horrible as we could not do anything about it. -At night, generators won't start if there is no light, so we were in a rainy room without light the entire night. Furthermore, no one answered incoming calls as the reception was empty. -Unprofessional Staff and helpless guests are what Valley View Resort Pahalgam offers. -It is worst than a 3rd graded lodge... -Worst Staff Worst Rooms And Worst Experience. They don't even deserve 1 star! -Please be careful and vigilant before choosing this property.

I was scheduled to stay in a different hotel near valley view but due to a last-minute cancellation checked into this hotel when Owaisji who handles the reception kindly offered me and my friend a room. He ensured I was comfortable with the room that I was taking, and sent me hot food to the room even though we are supposed to eat in the restaurant because it was late and we were very tired. He also moved us to a bigger room once it became available. The hotel is on the banks of a river Lidder so you can walk to it in less than 5 minutes from your room. The hotel has a wonderful garden in front of it where you can sit and soak sunshine. The staff in the hotel is warm and helpful as well. We had to check out 2 days later but did not have room to check into. It was Owaisji's again which helped us find another room in a hotel in a fully booked out Pahalgam. I am forever indebted to him for his kindness. He ensures that you get the best of what you need at valley view which is a wonderful hotel in itself.

This hotel is located in a very nice spot right next to the river Lidder. I am very happy that this was located a big higher than the base market area where it can get very commercial. Neat. Clean. Good service. Decent food. I saw a bad review, called up the hotel to ask my doubts and they have made my stay wonderful. Highly recommended for budget bookings.

I m writing this review just after leave hotel yesterday and i realize my DSLR was missing. Immediately call to ***ager Mr. OWAIS and i informed him accidentally i drop my DLSR at reception sofa corner.. They cross check and reply with yes it is here... The next day Hotel ***ager Mr.OWAIS make arrangement to drop my DLSR from pahalgam to srinagar and same next day i received the same... This is i call service & honestly of hotel staff. Food service: all food arrangement was quite goof for being veg family.... Breaker have wide variety & same as dinner. All service maintain by Mr.Mom***d Amin & staff.. My child like him most in hotel. We are at garden near 6:30pm we thought let have tea... We infomed Mr.Amin for tea. He is ready to served even it ROZA opening time 6:45 pm and serve at garden area... This is really appreciated approch by him.. So impressed. Hotel construction is very big and location is best.. Morning walk is best surround hotel area.....

A well ***aged and maintained Hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. A good restaurant with variety of foods. The view of the Pehalgam Valley from the rooms is amazing. A suggestion to improve the power backup.

Valley view resort Stay: Rooms are good. Cubboard furniture are old. Can have better aesthetician appeal. Heating is good. Washrooms are nice with all toiletries. LOCATION of hotel is great opp to river tributary. Geyser is there and good hot water coming. Cons : should provide packaged waterbottes View: incredible view , take front side rooms. Good birds come at the property. We were able to see yellow billed bluemagpie having long tail. Service: great staff. Owais ***ager and at reception was polite, courteous, helpful. He helped me to book cab for pahalgam to aharbal to srinagar to yousmarg to srinagar. Pahalgam taxi stand was charging exorbitant rates for the same route almost double then what Owais helped me to get. He even helped me to book good hotel and house boat in srinagar for last 4 days of my trip. other staff are very helpful, polite, provides right guidance. Food: Food is great. They provided paratha ,poha in breakfast, tea and coffee . All were good. We had dinner in hotel , It had great taste. Service staff was great, warn gesture and helpful
