Les Jardins de Skoura

由於從梅爾祖卡到馬拉喀什需要開車7個多小時，很辛苦，於是想中間住一晚，就誤打誤撞選了這個農莊酒店，很有特色，另一種體驗。就是進農莊的路太難走了，Google導航是錯的，幾乎沒有路，在村莊小路和乾涸的河灘上開了10幾公里。進了農莊後，一切就都很好了，很悠閑、很有味道的、非常美、感覺非常好。

This place is idyllic. I was after a 6 day trail ride I wanted to relax before flying home. Perfect. The rooms tastefully decorated in Moroccan style. I had a triple so plenty of room. Comfy bed and pillows. I slept so well as the room is dark and very quiet. The grounds were filled with tree and flowers, birds singing the resident 3 geese and peahen and peacock. The pool was lovely for a good swim. Breakfast and evening meals were served outdoors. The food was excellent and very generous portions. The best of all were the super friendly staff that really made my stay special.

Attention to details. A wonderful place- literally an oasis. Lot of greenery. Has a pool/ and hammocks. A play area for kids. You can get away from it all. Wonderful service. A terrace, that was both an evening lounge and breakfast area, had wonderful views of the palm trees. Terrific pictures of sunset. Rooms were clean, well provided. We got the junior suite. Money well spent. Food was exquisite. Catering to vegetarians. Breakfast was appropriate. Nice moroccan wine.

I mistakenly thought Les Jardins de Skoura were gardens open to the public but, despite this not being the case, Gaby and Eric invited me in to have a look at their lovely garden. It was a haven of tranquillity and would be a great place to stay and relax after the hustle and bustle of the cities.

Imagine our exhaustion after a rough and bumpy 20-minute drive from the main road, only to arrive at our booked hotel late at night and be told it's full and our reservation “could not be found", although we definitely have paid in full amount at least two weeks ahead of time. Frustration is barely enough to describe the whole predicament. The indifferent staff blamed the owner, who managed the place remotely with apparent apathy. Promises of a quick solution dissolved into thin air, forcing us to scramble and struggled to find another accommodation to spend the night. We are in contact with the website we booked the hotel through and so far have not received a refund after 6 days. Apparently, this property fell into new hands six months ago, and the previous owner's good reputation is being exploited to lure guests while the place crumbles. Six months of time under the new ownership is adequate to tarnish this hotel's once-stellar reputation. Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION if you consider this hotel for your stay. Choose wisely and avoid repeating our misfortune. Last but not least, I just wanted to say one last thing to the hotel crew (especially to the dearest owner): Kahwoud!!!

Wonderful styled, comfortable and spacious rooms. Restaurant served good food and included wine list. Gardens and rooftop terrace delightful. Owner Gabby was very welcoming and hospitality with a lovely charm. Room was warm and bed comfortable.

A beautiful place with wonderful staff. In a rural setting, this hotel is tranquil and beautiful, with lovely gardens. The room (Jasmine) was lovely and clean, warm and authentic. The food was served in a nearby room, beautifully decorated with an open fire by charming staff. The food was excellent, dinner and breakfast. Also authentic and fresh. The roof terrace was beautiful too. Highly recommended.

Imagine our exhaustion after a rough and bumpy 20-minute drive from the main road, only to arrive at our booked hotel late at night and be informed that all rooms were already occupied, and “OUR RESERVATION COUND NOT BE FOUND", although we definitely booked two to three weeks ahead of time, and have a printed confirmation with us from the website that we booked thru, stating “PAID IN FULL AMOUNT”. And our credit card was also charged in full amount when we made the booking. FRUSTRATION is barely enough to describe the whole predicament. The indifferent staff blamed the owner, claiming that “cuz the boss is crazy. she is mad”, whom managed the place remotely with absolute and apparent apathy. Promises of a solution dissolved into thin air, (because they have no spare room left at all), forcing us to scramble and struggled to find another very sketchy accommodation to spend the night. The most incredible and horrendous thing is that so far we HAVE NOT RECEIVED A SINGLE PENNY OF REFUND after almost SEVEN DAYS. We are in contact with the website we booked the hotel through, and will try our best to get our money back. Apparently, this property fell into new hands 6 months ago, and the previous owner's good reputation is being exploited to lure guests while the place crumbles. Six months of time under the new ownership is adequate to tarnish this hotel's once-stellar reputation. Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION if you consider this hotel for your stay. Worst service I have ever encountered in Morocco and even all around the world. We arrived at the hotel late at night after a bumpy 20-30 minutes drive from the main road, just to find out the hotel is full and “cannot find our reservation”. The staff blaims it on the owner and the owner who is managing the hotel from abroad clearly does not care. While they promise to find a solution in a couple minutes, no solution was provided until we found a nearby hotel ourself. The hotel was sold to a new owner 6 months ago and the new owner is using the good reputation that the previous owner built to attract guests but in reality running the property to the ground. We are in contact with the website we booked the hotel through and so far have not received a refund after 6 days. Please be aware if you book.
