Vriendelijke ontvangst, prachtige kamer en ontbijtzaal. De ligging is mooi centraal in Orleans, dicht bij de kathedraal en het treinstation. Parkeren kan goedkoop in de straat. Heerlijk ontbijt. We komen graag terug!

Op onze terugreis vanuit Spanje verbleven we een nacht in dit leuke hotel. Het was mogelijk om de auto in de straat te parkeren. De kamers van het hotel zijn erg origineel ingericht. Alles is superschoon en ook de bedden zijn goed. Tot 22.00 uur s'avonds kun je gebruik maken van het dakterras, van daaruit kun je de kathedraal net zien. Verder wordt er een uitgebreid ontbijt geserveerd in de theesalon. Er is geen lift aanwezig en op de kamers is geen airconditioning. Maar de fijne sfeer en het vriendelijke personeel maken dit ruimschoots goed!

Aanrader! Heel leuk hotel in oude stijl. Jeanne d’Arc is niet te missen hier. Heel veel leuke details en zilverwerk bij het ontbijt. Erg mooie kamers en goed bed ook. Ik heb huisstofmijtallergie maar ondanks het vloerkleed en de deken heb ik er helemaal geen last van gehad. Dat is altijd de beste test dat het echt schoon is! Je loopt zo de leuke oude binnenstad in om cultuur te snuiven en een terrasje te pakken. Jammer dat we er maar 1 nachtje waren. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Such a lovely little boutique hotel. Fabulously in period lovely touches with period features and decor. Stairs a bit steep with 3 dogs but otherwise cant fault it and would definitely stay again.

Exactly how I have imagined a perfect French hotel. This place oozes character and feels like the old curiosity shop. It’s right in the centre of town and close to all the shops, restaurants and sights. My single room (I was driving by myself across France) and bathroom were small but beautifully decorated and comfy/cozy. The staff are super friendly and nice. Breakfast was good and they even made me a perfectly cooked boiled egg. Even the guests seemed nice and quiet. I didn’t stay here on my arrival in France, only because I was worried about the parking. It was relatively easy to find meter parking at the other end of the street - which cost about €4 for several hours and you can pay by card. They also recommend a more expensive car park for around €16 per day.

I stayed at the Hotel l'Abeille in Orleans in November, 2022 for three nights. I explored Orleans in addition to taking a train to Blois and touring Chambord and Cheverney. The hotel is conveniently located a few blocks from the train station and the main town square. The room was quiet, comfortable and had an interesting view - a photo of which, I have included. The staff was very helpful in finding places to eat and things to see. The breakfast was very good. One caution: there is no elevator and the stairs are steep and narrow - so if you have mobility issues, this may not be for you, unless you request a lower room.

Lovely, small hotel in great location in Orlean. We had a room on the first floor (glad we did, the staircase is a bit daunting as other reviewers have mentioned). The room was spacious with a huge closet (so suitcases were not taking up floor space), comfortable bed with nice linens, a huge bathroom. Room was very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a perfect way to start the day and included made to order eggs (if you choose). I recommend this hotel which is adjacent to a pedestrian shopping street and close by to restaurants, the central train station and other city sights.

It was great, just make sure people know there is no lift and the stairs are narrow. My husband has a hard time walking and these stairs were hard for him. You had a nice young gal take our bags up the stairs and how she did that, I have no idea. The room was lovely and comfortable. I would suggest some kind of not slip mat for the shower/tub though.
