Room was large and lovely, just a bit dated in decor, hotel itself is ideally located for what we needed, staff we’re always polite and friendly and helpful. Fab toiletries definitely don’t need to take anything. Fridge was a bonus.

We logeerden 5 nachten in dit hotel : ruime kamer met heel mooi zicht op de golfbaan met paar kleine minpuntjes (douche, weinig kastruimte). Ontbijt niet wow maar correct, jammer dat we niet op het aangename terras konden ontbijten, was blijkbaar niet voor hotelgasten, raar !? Paar keer lekker gegeten in het restaurant, terras was mogelijk :), maar bediening kan beter (sommige garçons lomp en niet vriendelijk). Maar alles bij elkaar een positieve ervaring.

4 nachten verbleven in dit prachtige hotel, ruime mooie kamers met perfecte housekeeping, lekker gevarieerd ontbijt en tof restaurant met een terras met schitterend uitzicht. Er is ook een groot zwembad waar het nooit druk is. Enig nadeel is dat je voor alle veplaatsingen een wagen nodig hebt. Om te fietsen en lopen ligt op een km van het hotel een klein kanaal met fietspad naast, daar kan je ongeveer 60 km fietsen op een vlak parcours, de streek rond het hotel is zeer heuvelachtig.

Wij komen hier al jaren, maar de kwaliteit was beduidend minder dan andere jaren. Het eten kwam ook veel te snel. We hadden nog maar net genipt van onze aperitief en we kregen ons voorgerecht al. Zodra dit op was, kwam onmiddellijk het hoofdgerecht. Het is niet dat het slecht was, maar voor het geld dat je hier uitgeeft kan je elders wel 2 keer gaan eten en beter!

Wat waren we vroeger hier héél tevreden . De bediening is nu ondermaats en nonchalant . Niet vriendelijk en geen organisatie. Ons eten kwam op verschillende tijdstippen. Het eten zelf was lekker en verzorgd. Maar wat gaat de bediening hier véél moeten leren . Prachtige locatie.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and the outdoor space is very beautiful as well with all the plants and nice buildings. It has a look of a five-star hotel, but the service is not up to 5* so 4* is the most accurate description.
The only disappointment was the service at the restaurant outdoor patio where I ate twice. The first time it was understaffed and it was hard to get any attention. The second time the waiter forgot to bring me the water and when I asked him for it he looked astounded and brought still water instead of sparkling. I was charged for both of them, however. I hate when restaurants don’t deliver everything I order and then make me pay for undelivered items.

I played golf on the hotel course on October 13th we played at 12 midday and paid €83 each 3 of us, we went into the clubhouse to pay , the receptionist was barely interested in us as she was talking a phone call while serving us, I had played this course around 20 years earlier and had good memories of it , unfortunately I no longer anything other than bad memories, we got to the first tee we all teed off, when we got to the green we found out why every other course in the area was fully booked but this course had space, the greens were completely unusable the extent of the disease in the greens was complete, wherever you would land on the green you were faced with a put through potholes, if we were told about the state of the greens before we played we would not of gone out there but they should of said something to us even though it would risk us pulling out, I took pictures to illustrate what I am saying, they must of run out of money, they certainly will if it continues in this state, I will never play this course every again ( wast of time and money)

We stayed at Campoamor hotel and it was a great stay at hotel breakfast a mile better than previous stays cooked fresh for each person and great spread of fruit great service, room comfortable and clean we stayed at Campoamor as a base to play golf and it worked out well with several top class courses in a short driving distance, we all agreed the hotel was better than our previous stays and would return

Tranquil location and a place with a lot of potential. Food was good in the restaurant but bit expensive. Had better breakfasts in 4-star hotels. Some staff very friendly, others could improve. The set up of the hotel is great but it definitely need some upgrading to be a 4 or 5 star hotel again
