Our hotel is built on the very sight of the old Erie Canal, which was the main thoroughfare from Albany to Buffalo in the 1800's and early 1900's. This area of Syracuse is just a bustling today! Numerous restaurants, shopping, and entertainment for both adults & children are within walking distance of the hotel. The Syracuse area offers a lot of history as well. Take a trip to our Erie Canal Museum or Salt Museum and learn a little bit about Syracuse's past. I stayed for one night 2/24/24 and the staff at the front desk was welcoming and nice from the time I walked, the rooms were very clean all through the hotel I love the tv was big and the pool was nice for the kids I would definitely be going back

Almost everything was great! The woman working at the desk was very friendly and helpful as was the maintenance manager. The pool water was nice and warm and the area, along with everything else, was nice and clean. Our only two complaints would be that the bathroom in our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and that the water pressure in the shower could be better (I doubt this is within the control of the property though). We would definitely stay here again.

Clean place, staff was nice. Room was good but needed to ask for soap, shampoo n body wash.staff said pool was 80 degrees. It was not. It was cold and people had goosebumps. Ask to have it turned up and was told no.

Among its many strong qualities re comfort, hygiene, convenience & value for money, the Hampton Inn Syracuse DeWitt is one of the most pet-friendly places I have stayed. The staff are genuinely concerned about their guests and their pets. I haven't found better service anywhere in North America. Bravo to the team at Syracuse DeWitt.

We loved our stay here. The hotel manager was so welcoming it made you feel at home. There were beautiful holiday decorations throughout the lobby and main floor. Would certainly stay here next time we are in town.

Extremely clean. Wonderful friendly staff. The young women who worked on the Friday evening until 10:30 was fantastic. Very friendly and kind person. Very helpful when I asked a question. She is the kind of staff you want to keep forever. Great human being. Thank-You so much to her for all her kindness and for answering all my questions!
