Hotels bij Japanese Cultural Experience Facility Sasagirian 笹桐庵, Onna

The check in was very easy, as was finding the location along of the villa on the beach. The condo/villa is absolutely stunning with a view of the ocean that cannot be beat. We appreciated the gorgeous sunsets, the pool and soaking tub on the 2nd floor balcony, and the outstanding views of the beach and island (Yojima) in the distance. The beds were some of the most comfortable we slept in while in Japan. We deeply appreciated the amenities - breakfast and food delivery (sausages, veggies, fresh bread, eggs and drinks) upon arrival, and found the layout of the house was fantastic for our family of 5. With two sleeping areas downstairs (kids), and an upstairs master bedroom (parents), we had MORE than enough space. One thing we would have liked about the location description online is an understanding that there is VERY little near by in terms of restaurants, convenience stores, etc. Depending on the weather, not much is walkable within 15-20 minutes. We ate at the Taco Rice restaurant, and walked 30 minutes to a local supermarket, and we drove the other places we needed to go. Also, the general impression we got from the website was that you can access the beach directly from the villa - sort of a, ”walk out to the sand” idea. You cannot. There is a 6-foot wall that separates the bottom floor of the villa with the actual beach area (needed for water level rising during storms, we get that :))... but there is no way down without jumping, nor a path to the beach (from our #3/C Villa, at least). We ended up jumping down the retaining wall using their small gate, walking around to a local business area that had a clear path, and accessing the beach that way. This was fine, don't get me wrong. Also, while the view is spectacular (and it really is), there is a TON of rebar from a former construction project (unfinished, we asked around) that sticks up out of the ocean at low, or extremely low tide (both of which we experienced while visiting - the extremely low tide happens each new/full moon, we were told). When this occurs, the beach stretches for 550 yards. We were able to ”walk and explore” (careful of course of the coral!), but for 1.5 days, we had a view of tons and tons of rebar sticking straight out of the sand, that stretched for 100s of yards in each direction. Again, this did not ruin anything, but it would be nice to know when booking a pricey room. I think the views are outstanding, given the timing you take the photo :) Overall, we would likely not stay again for the price, but it was a relaxing and splurge-y way to get that Okinawa sunset in at the end of long trip (5 weeks) in Japan. We are grateful for this adventure and my shared experience in this review is simply to help families understand more about the property. We traveled in mid-July. Thank you!

Het landschap rondom het hotel is prachtig en het balkon van de kamer kijkt direct op de zee. De receptie, twee restaurants en de conciërge-taxiservice zijn allemaal erg attent en enthousiast. Ik kwam geen Chinees sprekende obers tegen bij de receptie, maar ik had geen probleem met communiceren in het Engels. De Japanse obers zijn erg hartelijk, beleefd en comfortabel, terwijl de andere obers iets minderwaardig zijn. Deze keer gaan we golfen op een nabijgelegen golfbaan, dus vergeet niet om vooraf een taxi te reserveren bij de conciërgebalie, aangezien Uber niet gemakkelijk te gebruiken is. Er zijn twee restaurants in het hotel. Het Japanse restaurant op de t****e verdieping biedt vaste menu's met sushi, teppanyaki en inktvishotpot. U moet ook vooraf reserveren in de hut naast de receptie . Het ontbijt wordt ook gereserveerd door een nummer te nemen. Bij het inchecken heb ik ervoor gekozen om de kamer elke dag van 9.00 tot 12.00 uur schoon te maken. Toen ik de volgende dag om 4.00 uur terugkwam, bleek dat deze nog niet was schoongemaakt het tijdelijk en we gingen naar beneden om te wachten. Verder is alles geweldig! Ter referentie vindt u in de bijlage de dienstregeling van de pendeldienst van hotel naar luchthaven. Doe zoals de Romeinen, alles moet geboekt worden!

The hotel and its ocean view from the room are very beautiful. Room is very clean and spacious. Staff are very helpful. The location is good too. There are plenty of good restaurants around, and not long driving to Manzamo and Nago. I stayed for 2 nights, and if you do not require any room making and cleaning, you can get a ¥1000 voucher which can be used in the hotel e.g. hotel shop. I think this generous initiative is very effective and win-win to save resources while boost spending. However, please note that hotel will charge parking fee. I will definitely stay again in my next visit!

Ik dacht onschuldig dat er meerdere zwembaden waren op de foto van het hotel, maar was teleurgesteld dat er maar één was (het hotel vermeldde dat ze er 3 hebben, maar het is eigenlijk hetzelfde, maar met ondieper water aan beide kanten). We hadden gepland om overdag te zwemmen en naar buiten te gaan en daarna te genieten van het buitenbad op ons eigen terras, maar we ontdekten dat er 's nachts veel insecten en vliegen waren, en we durfden zelfs de terrasdeur niet te openen om te voorkomen dat de insecten onze kamer binnenkwamen! Het ontbijt is een beetje vroeg om om 10.00 uur te eindigen. Het is een buffet, maar niet veel lekkers om te eten. We gaan er maar één dag heen en vinden het beter om de rest van de dagen buiten te eten, ook al was het ontbijt inbegrepen in onze kamerprijs. Maar Aquasense is nog steeds een heerlijk hotel! De kamer is echt ruim en er waren drie grote, comfortabele bedden. De koelkast is een thuisformaat met vriezer die je zelden in de meeste hotels vindt, we kunnen er ijs in bewaren en kunnen het eten wanneer we maar willen. En het uitzicht vanaf het terras is geweldig en het voelt ontspannen om in de kamer te blijven met veel banken! Tot slot moet ik nog even het vuurwerk vermelden! Hotels lanceren speciaal voor de zomer in juli en augustus vuurwerk, wij kunnen op ons eigen terras genieten van het vuurwerk. We vonden het allemaal geweldig en het is echt een onvergetelijke ervaring,

Een traditioneel hotel in Japanse stijl, zo groot als een resort, met een zeer comfortabel privéstrand. In april was het regenachtig in Okinawa, maar de zon scheen weer en het was heel comfortabel om op het strand te liggen. De kamer is niet groot en de twee 26-inch koffers zijn moeilijk te openen. De faciliteiten zijn enigszins oud, maar nog steeds redelijk schoon. Het ontbijtaanbod is acceptabel en er zijn binnen- en buitenzwembaden. Over het algemeen is het een goede ervaring om te ontspannen in het hotel.

Excellent service, although not all of the staff are good at English but they will try their best to help. The location is not convenient for those who doesn’t drive, there are no restaurants and convenience stores nearby. You have to take taxi to moon beach area for some foods and groceries unless you stayed at the hotel all day long. There are dusts around the corner in the room, and no one clean up the corner during my 3-day visit. But overall the room is clean and tidy.

Hello everyone! We stayed at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha Bay from October 3rd to 10th, 2025. The hotel’s location is convenient — not right next to the main attractions, but getting there from Naha Airport is easy. There’s a direct airport bus that takes about an hour and a half and stops right at the hotel entrance. When we checked in, we were first given a room on a lower floor, even though we had asked for a higher one when booking. The next day, the staff kindly moved us — really great service and attention to detail. We chose the half-board option (breakfast and dinner). The food was excellent — tasty, diverse, and offered in several themed areas: European, Japanese, Chinese, and Okinawan. Besides the main restaurant, there are plenty of other places to eat on-site — a BBQ area, Japanese izakaya, dessert buffet, and a cozy traditional café. The beach is small but very clean, with lifeguards always on duty. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented for a small fee, and towels are available for free with hotel coupons. The hotel itself wasn’t crowded, which made it peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Some parts of the interior look a bit dated, but that’s easily balanced by the stunning ocean views, fair pricing, and overall comfort. All in all, this hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a calm, relaxing getaway surrounded by beautiful scenery. Highly recommend! 🌸

This hotel is motel style kind of resort with private beach, expensive but cheaper than the other similar hotels in the Onna area which are also by the beach. I had a ground floor room so didn't have a view (garden view) but if you stay in the upper levels you should get a view of the ocean and beach. The beach is just a few minute walk behind the hotel, and is a small secluded beach with a little reef and is quite lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean, the decor is dated though. Each room has a patio. You can buy snorkelling gear from the small lobby, and there is a small hotel restaurant which serves decent buffet breakfast. I chose this hotel because of the price and also it is close to Cape Maeda where the blue cave is, but you can also do a little snorkelling at the private beach too. It is more convenient to drive there, but they charge 100 yen a day for parking.

Ik verbleef 5 dagen en 4 nachten in ANA met mijn vrienden en had een geweldige tijd. Zeer geschikt voor familievakantie, zal in de toekomst weer komen! Er is een privéstrand waar u kunt spelen in het Ocean Park Er zijn twee ondiepe zwembaden geschikt voor alle leeftijden Er zijn ook enkele betaalde items om te spelen Het ontbijtbuffet elke ochtend is zeer uitgebreid Er is ook een groot badhuis waar u een bad kunt nemen Zodra de kamer opengaat, zegt het dat het een onvergelijkbaar uitzicht op zee heeft. De service van het personeel is erg goed! 👍🏻 De locatie is zeer geschikt om zelf te rijden. Er zijn heerlijke restaurants op slechts een paar minuten afstand na het verlaten van het resort. Een klein nadeel is dat de airconditioner een beetje vervelend is. Tijdens het slapen piept hij een tijdje en wordt dan plotseling een tijdje stil, en de cyclus gaat door. Later werd het probleem opgelost door de airco op 21 graden te zetten.

We brought our 3+ years old boy on a 2 night stay during golden week (May 2024) and opted in for a dinner buffet on the first night. It was 2200 yen per adult n foc for my boy. The spread was limited but worth all its penny as the beef was so tender and juicy so i feasted on it. All other dishes were also very good. The private beach was convenient and the water was so clear it looked like mineral water. There was a 50% discount voucher you can get from the hotel reception for the banana boat ride at the private beach and our boy enjoyed this and another ride. The young instructor who pulled us out on a jet ski for our water rides was friendly and went at a good speed for our 3 year old who was doing the water actitivties for the first time without us having to tell him to do so. He even went to the coral reefs and picked up a starfish n a sea cucumber to show our boy before returning it back to the sea. The water activites was affordable with the discount, price similar to Msia/Thailand/Indonesia resorts i have been to. I was apprehensive booking this resort after reading the reviews on the state of the hotel showing signs of aging. However, the place was well maintained. There was an unpleasant smell when i opened the door to our room but its actually just the tatami which needed some airing. After opening the windows to let in the natural breeze, all was good. Cleaniness for toilet was good too; just need to figure out the temp control for the shower. The onsite onsen was clean and easily accessible at the basement, and wld have cost us at least 1200yen for a visit to a public onsite iin naha. Totally recommend this resort for a fam outing with young children. I understand they have barrier free access rooms on the first floor of the resort so there were some families with elderly too.
