Villa Limonade, Maison d'Hotes

This was a great experience. One of the two owners, Alain, spent many years in the US and was a charming host, very fun to talk with. The other, Paul, is an excellent chef and we had terrific dinners when we were there. Very reasonably priced for the experience. Would highly recommend it.

Outstanding host!! The place was everything and more than we imagine. It's warm, clean, hospitable and French Mediterranean class. Yet, homely. The magnificent history of this extraordinary building is brought to it's glory by the hosts. Will certainly be back!! Cheng and Mark

We stayed two days at Villa Limonade and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms are large, quiet and clean, and the pool area is very relaxing. Breakfast is copious and tasty and Alain, the host is friendly and very interesting to talk to.

It was a quick overnight stop for us. The owner is very nice and informative about the area. Made a recommendation for dinner, that we loved, it was very close to the hotel. The hotel itself is a bit tired.

We had a lovely stay here with our son and our daughter. The rooms are lovely. And the hosts are superb. We ate in on the friday night which was outstanding. Would highly recommend. So much so that we are going back in June! Lovely relaxing stay.

A very nice stop off while cycling the canal du midi. No distance from the canal tow path, maybe 2km. Comfortable home with tiny pool. Really excellent breakfast. Very safe overnight bike storage. In a small rural town with a few cafés/restaurants.

My husband and I spent 6 nights at Villa Limonade and explored the local area from Olonzac. The house is tastefully decorated and offers every comfort, from the bedrooms to the external dining area, patio and pool. We enjoyed our French breakfast outside each morning before we headed off to a village or abbey as suggested by our well informed hosts. Tony cooked fantastic meals for us twice during the week and had plenty of recommendations for great local restaurants. We enjoyed the company of other guests passing through and shared a few glasses of local wine with them. We highly recommend Villa Limonade and hope to return very soon.

Wow! After having done a bit of research I knew the old Lemonade Factory in Olanzac was going to be great, however I hadn’t realised that the online photographs just didn’t do the place justice. The decor for me was beautiful, the rooms were huge and the layout perfect. The common areas catered for every need with some fantastic personal touches from the brilliant hosts Tony & Linda. I arrived by motorcycle and immediately my Ducati was secured in the Villa Limonade garage and a cold bottle of beer was placed in my hand! The best welcome a biker can get! The garage door was firmly locked meaning I could now relax knowing my pride and joy (plus my onward transport) was safe and sound, I could now relax. After being shown to my exquisite room with a balcony overlooking the glorious garden with pool, it was time to take in the panorama of the plains to the south and Pyrenees in the distance! I stopped for some time drinking this vista in. Tony & Linda were exceptional hosts, catering to my every need and those of the other guests. Quick to speak French, German and English dependant on the interaction. Easily putting us all at ease with their charisma, charm and energy and their knowledge & experience of the local area and all its offerings was very impressive. Villa Limonade is that good! that I will be revisiting with my wife to spend more time exploring the area, Tony & Linda’s passion for their place and the area is infectious and I for one am infected! Thank you Tony, thank you Linda, Perfection!

Lovely short break as part of our house-hunting trip. Hosts Tony and Linda were exceptional in their attention to detail, went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and offered sound advice on the local area etc. A brilliant experience!
