Lakeside Lodge Clemson

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating; and being able to have lake views was amazing! If it were more private it would be perfect! It’s next to a shopping center which can be convenient, but takes away from the ambiance. What really detracts from this beautiful place is the train! There is a freight train that is right across from the hotel and it goes by at least 6-8 times during the day, night and wee hours of the morning! Which is not great when you’re a light sleeper. I also wish they offered streaming tv services. All in all, a beautiful place, friendly staff and we enjoyed ourselves.

My room was dirty. Stray strands of hair in the shower, wrappers and crumpled paper on floor along the stove, fridge side , and a used beach towel on my balcony. I didn’t get a chance to see the outside areas due to rain and I was only staying overnight. I recommend this hotel but housekeeping needs to be more on the ball and hope this isn’t the norm for the lodge.

The property had nice appliances and decor. The front desk was friendly. It was only surface cleaned. Makeup smudges on bathroom door bottom of shower had visible soap scum I had to clean. The restaurant and bar is closed on Mondays. The restaurant and bar was closed by 9 the rest of the time. The pool bar is only open on the weekends. They had no vending machines. One of the elevators was down for a few days. I didn't see housekeeping. Had to go and get my own supplies. They were out of wash clothes on my last day. My child has food allergies and the restaurant didn't make me feel comfortable to have her eat there. The waitress was really nice though. I also asked for a new toaster to use because my daughter has food allergies and they didn't have any new extra ones to give me to use. I had to go buy one. The bottom line is. It was a place to stay and it was very close to Clemson campus where my daughter attended camp. I would not say there again. Very disappointed

Cozy, beautiful and clean rooms. Plus so close to downtown Clemson and other places to visit. Will definitely be coming back to this one

We stayed in a condo unit. Beautiful property, very clean and well maintained. The on site restaurant has delicious food and great drinks.

It's in a beautiful location and is a wonderful property. One of the best in the area. If you would like a condo setting or kitchenettes, I highly recommend lakeside lodge.

Found this place while searching for a place for a weekend staycation. You cant beat the price. The rooms were clean. The grounds were clean. Good size pool. The food at the restaurant was AMAZING and well worth the price. I will definitely be going back.

The Resort was easy to access. Clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was delicious, though the room was a little noisy. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Could have used an ice bucket and had trouble with our coffee pot. We will stay there again and certainly recommend it.

Pool was great, close to town. Room was well stocked with kitchen stuff. Loved the gym as well. One of the front desk employees was not very nice to a guest coming in. Room wasn't ready and he wasn't happy. She told him she couldn't help that staff had called in sick and they were short staffed. She had an ear bud in the whole time which is extremely rude.
