Hostel Airport

Where do I even begin. I wish the grading system went negative, because one star is far to positive. It was scummy, the area was not really great and it might have had bedbugs (not entirely sure, but there was something crawling around). The paint was falling off the walls, the community showers were disgusting. There was also a common area with a kitchen, which was also not well-kept. Oh, and there were paint barrels and other rubbish all around the place. It had no reception, you had to call a few hours in advance before your visit. On top of all that, it was located on top of an auto repair shop, with the hostel being accessible through a scummy side entrance. The host was nice enough, but he didn’t seem to like foreigners that much, which is unfortunate, given that he runs a hostel. Luckily I speak fluent German, so we got by quite well. -1/10, we literally booked a night train to Cologne in order to avoid spending a night there.
