Outstanding hospitality yet again from owners Rudi and Agi Rechl . The hotel is in a beautiful location. Ample free parking. Very comfortable rooms . Lovely swimming pool and wellness area. Service is exceptional fro the slick and professional team. The attention to detail is superb. The food is of a consistently high standard. The Sunday Schweinshaxe is amazing! The bar has beautiful HB Traunstein beer on draft and there is a great selection of cocktails and spirits in this buzzy bar . Rudi, despite the bar being very busy, still finds time to greet and welcome guests with such warmth. Breakfast is excellent and sets you up nicely for the day! It is always a joy to stay here . In the centre of the charming Bavarian town of Ruhpolding lies the Hotel Zur Post. There is ample private parking right by the door. The rooms are for the most part spacious furnished in traditional Bavarian style, with all mod cons, good Wi-Fi and clean and functional bathrooms. The indoor swimming pool with wellness centre including sauna and steam room provide a welcome space for unwinding and relaxation. The restaurant food is excellent. The dishes are beautifully presented and of a significant quantity and quality. Service is very friendly and professional. The bar has a great atmosphere and unlike many German bars serves a great selection of cocktails beautifully prepared by the owner Rudi. The bar serves the full range of beers from the local Hofbräuhaus Traunstein which are delicious. The owner Rudi and his charming wife go way way out of their way to make every guest feel at home and are very attentive to their needs. You feel welcomed like a home from home. The included breakfast buffet has a great selection to set you up for the day. This hotel is a great base to explore the beautiful countryside of lakes mountains and more. Munich is an easy reach, with Salzburg even nearer. We had such fun and I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. Simply charming and all you need for a stay This hotel is a great base

Exceptional. This hotel is an absolute gem. Warm, friendly welcome, spacious rooms and bathrooms that are spotlessly clean. Pool looking out over a pretty garden, great location in the town too. Breakfasts provide full range of things from fresh fruits, yoghurts and cheeses to cooked options as well. The service is friendly and helpful and our overall experience here was first class. Just loved the hotel. Would revisit in a heartbeat.

Rooms were spacious and modern. Bathroom extremely clean with plenty of towels and good lighting. Bed was comfortable with lovely duvets. Plenty of parking behind the hotel. Hotel has a bar with a great selection of beer and cocktails. Restaurant offers breakfast and dinner. Small outdoor patio for drinks with friends. A very comfortable place with excellent staff

Wir waren beim Maibaumfest. Es war die Hölle los. Trotz Maximalstress war die Bedienung sehr freundlich, ruhig und flott. Essen hat nicht lange gedauert. Das vegane Curry war ausgezeichnet. Kann man einfach nur empfehlen.

Hier beginnt der Urlaub, am ersten Tag. Historie, Moderne und das Alpenländische, sind perfekt abgestimmt . Angenehm familiär, beste Küche, super Hotelbar, nettestes Personal, ein Wellnessbereich, der seines Gleichen sucht. Da man zentral wohnt, ist dies ein weiteres großes Plus. Wir kommen wieder !!! Tolle Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Service ist super. Im Hotel gibt es kostenlos Sauna und Pool, insgesamt ein sehr nettes Ambiente. Das Personal ist Aufmerksam, die Parkplätze sind kostenfrei Essen ist lecker. Die Lage vom Hotel ist sehr Zentral.
