Great hotel would happily stay again great value for money

Excellent service

Excellent hotel, a real find, a short walk from the station. Very nice room and en suite, quiet, comfy bed and well staffed. Much better than I expected for the price. Some parking available, located in a safe area. Would love to stay here again and hopefully will.

Stayed 7th-9th April. Staff friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Lovely room, comfy bed and really nice en suite. You could swim in that bath! So nice 😊 Only marked down slightly as there was a dried yellow substance in the bath, which was easily removed, and I was given a fan with no fuse in however, this was changed the next day. I don't understand the low reviews as my experience was perfectly fine and for the price I paid will definitely book again.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is not often that I stay in hotels these days but I felt really looked after right from the booking. The customer service and the hotel are excellent. This was my first visit to Norwich and for sure if I return here in the future I will be booking into this hotel. My whole experience was faultless and really pleasant, and I really hope that I have an opportunity to return here.

Room was not cleaned professionally. Very dusty - skirting, doors and radiators - stains on walls and doors to bedroom and bathroom, staining to carpet and torn to areas, heavy residue to walls/tiling inside bathroom. The bathroom was not clean, mould heavy to areas and paint peeling/mould to bathroom window/reveals. Bathroom window blind mouldy/dirty and not working. Bathroom stunk of damp/cat pee smell. Only 3 out of 4 of the main room wall side lights worked, 3 x of them were extremely loose off the wall. 1 x extremely broken/cracked socket that had been taped over (which was the main accessible socket for the dressing table!). Breakfast was very limited, was told there is no kitchen in the premises for any breakfast (small cereal packets, some fruit, some babybels, and toast), milk and 4 yogurts inside a shared staff/customer fridge (did not look professional and smelt), no date on the milk or bread. They had left the kettle boiling and resting on a chair in front of exposed electrics! Very poor for the cost of the breakfast, if I had known I would not of included this and purchased breakfast elsewhere. The only good thing about the stay was the staff, one member of staff was super helpful with the taxi services. Aside from this, I would not waste my money again on this hotel. It was not what I expected, for the payment of over £100, I would have expected a professionally cleaned property, not broken sockets and exposed electrics. I had booked this as a surprise for Mother’s Day, and felt it completely ruined our weekend. The bathroom smell so was offensive I was unable to leave it open for ventilation and to use. The windows were all so heavily mould around edges, it looked awful. The bedrooms smelt damp. Never again.

This is a great value for money hotel just 5 minutes walk from the station. Has a few bars and restaurants within minutes and is probably 10 minutes you are in town centre by walking. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the service and check in was easy and friendly.

Nice, good value Hotel. Room was clean with plenty of space. Tea and coffee facilities with nice biscuits. Bathroom was clean with modern fittings. Easy walk to Norwich station and Norwich City centre.
