Couldn’t get in the front door, people outside hanging out and walking around with no shoes

It took about 4 times to get the door key to open the door.
It had to be rekeyed rwice.

The property is old and had a musty smell. The room was dusty and there were stains on furniture. The dining area is small and uninviting. There wasn’t any regular coffee in room! Only decaf!
It’s located in a depressing area & looks sketchy.

Checked in at 3:00 pm. Did not go to room at that time. Came back at 7pm, housekeeping apparently forgot to clean room after last guest. Beds unmade, trash not taken out. Management was nice, but I had to go 10 miles down road to Best Western

The first 2 days out door card only worked for 24 hours. On the 3rd day, despite their claims we were wiping it out next to our phones - neither of us keep our cards near our phones - and reminding them that we were there thru Saturday, they got them fixed where they worked the rest of our stay. Pillows were not comfortable. Otherwise, very clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, great location. If management would fix a couple of bumps, this would have been an excellent stay. (We were there during the tornado that passed thru town. They suggested the hallway on the 1st floor to take cover.)

Jeraldine at the front desk was exceptional. Gave us ideas of things to do and places to eat. Went above and beyond just being helpful. She is a great asset for this company.

If you need a cheap place to crash near the highway … but we had to ring the front bell in the freezing cold for about 5 min before anyone would let us in (it was around 8pm) and the faucet was dripping in the room all night. The TV didn’t work and the towels were very very very small and thin.

This was my first stay at this location. Great location, excellent staff, very caring. It was a busy weekend in the hotel, several hotel guests, but still very accomodating.
