Quality Inn - Norman near University

DO NOT STAY HERE. 1. Our King room was missing the couch/furniture. All we had was a bed, nightstands and desk. There was nowhere to sit other than the bed! When I complained the first day they said they would inform management. When I asked again the second day they said they were waiting on management, I informed them I expected a large discount. Upon checkout they said I needed to address my concerns with management yet they wouldn't provide me any contact info. 2. They did clean our room even though the cleaning person was two doors down from our room when we left and we told her it was ready for cleaning. That night the front desk said we needed to request it in the morning. When I pointed out they did not inform us of this when we checked in they did not care. They provided us with fresh towels and they had holes in them!! We again expressed our frustration. They offered that I could go find another hotel and they would credit that night's room. GO FIDN ANOTHER HOTEL AT 6PM WHEN IWAS THERE FOR A GRADUATION STARTING AT &PM! AND ALL HOTELS WERE SOLD OUT FOR GRADUATION! 3. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had. Powdered eggs and muffins that were stale.

Very friendly staff, good location to campus and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Wish i would have found earlier in my travels to Norman

Staff was friendly, room needed to be wiped down/vacuumed/hair on the floor, air conditioning worked, hot water.

Good overall. Facility appears to be recently upgraded. Rooms were clean, A/C was good, linens and toiletries were good, breakfast was good, location was convenient, and staff was polite and helped solve several problems. When we checked in and accessed our assigned room, there was already someone in it. Our second room keys did not work originally and had to be reprogrammed. All these unexpected problems required a trip back to the front desk with armloads of our belongings. New TVs had been installed throughout the hotel, but when we went to relax for the night we discovered ours had not been programmed yet. A working ice machine was not available on the second floor. Our room window was extremely spotted and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. These issues kept the rating from being excellent. But we did have a clean and safe place to stay for the night.

The hotel was relatively clean .. we did notice that the room didn’t appear to have been vacuumed recently as there were noticeable bits of trash on floor. Biggest take away that was a bit disconcerting was that twice we were given room keys .. went to the room… opened the door, and someone else was already staying in that room. On the 3rd try someone from the front desk walked with us to the room.

I recently finished my stay here and had a largely positive experience! The service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was handled smoothly. The location was perfect for my needs, and the overall atmosphere of the property was very welcoming. However, there is one area that definitely needs some attention: the beds. The spring mattresses felt quite dated and were pretty uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. If the hotel updates the mattresses to something more modern and supportive, this would easily be a 5-star experience. I’d love to come back once those upgrades are in place! Rating: 4/5 Pros: Great service, convenient location, clean facilities. Cons: Spring mattresses are uncomfortable and need replacing.

The AC wasn’t easy to work, broken iron, door lock was lose and actually had someone walk into our room. Also a dead beetle on the bathroom floor.

Breakfast was decent but that was it. My husband is handicapped and they didn’t have a room for us downstairs and the elevator was out. We requested extra pillows because the ones we got were tiny, but we only got 1 extra tiny pillow for my husband to use under his leg. Hairdryer didn’t work either. Not completely worthless but definitely not worth the price!

The manager complained about employees the whole time. Elevator was broken, sign had been up for a long time. I had to make three different trips up the stairs to different rooms, no one knew which rooms were clean or dirty. The lady and guy both had nothing but complaints about not being able to staff. It’s none of my business, and I didn’t ask. I just wanted a room. This was by far one of the worst stays I’ve had in a very long time. I will never return and I will be requesting a refund.
