Crowne Plaza Hotel-Niagara Falls/Falls View, an IHG Hotel

De locatie van het hotel is zeer gunstig: het ligt zeer dicht bij de watervallen, speeltuinen, waterparken en winkelcentra op de grens van de Verenigde Staten en is geschikt voor gezinnen met kinderen. Vanwege de vroege opening zijn de faciliteiten gemiddeld, iets minder in vergelijking met andere aspecten. De service en het ontbijt zijn geweldig, en de koffie en jus d'orange worden ingepakt en meegenomen

Oud hotel, de faciliteiten zijn oud, het behang is oud maar heeft geen invloed op het uitzicht. De receptie gaf kamer 507, en het overdekte bad is erg genezend voor degenen die 15.000 voet per dag lopen. Het is ideaal om twee watervallen en vuurwerk te zien. Het hotel heeft een uitgebreid ontbijt, attente service en helpt bij het maken van foto's. De tuin aan de overkant van de weg beneden is de moeite waard om te blijven hangen. Hardrock-maaltijden zijn goed. Er is een Bird Kingdom in de buurt waar u uw kinderen kunt meenemen om de vogels te voeren

Our room was #435.... with a view of the pool....no outside light. The main room was 10' X 10' not including a little 4' wide hallway with a 6' x 6' bathroom off to the side, where you rubbed against the sink in order to use the toilet. For some reason, the heating/A/C was unresponsive to control, and the room was very, very warm. No Microwave, No Fridge. Ice and Microwaves were located on another floor. There was barely enough room in the room to navigate around the Queen bed, which sagged in the center and reeked of cheap motel bleach. The LCD Tv was lo def, and the picture was dim. Furniture, single lamp, and tiny chair were all old, worn, and dusty. All this for $297. Almost forgot.... Parking was $40 dollars/day for the adjoining lot. You CAN find bargain parking in the area....if you want to schlep your bags all over Niagara Falls. The hotel lobby is beautiful, very classy....but the rooms are pitiful. You'd be better served at a motel 6. To make a short story long..... we went to bed at 9 PM after hiking the Canadian side all day. We woke at 1:30 AM just roasting, with sore backs.....where we decided we had enough.. We packed up and checked out at 2 AM, to the surprise of the attendant, who indicated he was "So Sorry" our stay did not meet expectations. Just as well..... earlier in the day, the Rainbow Bridge "TO USA" lanes were backed up as far as the eye could see up the hill, into the Canadian neighborhood. It would have taken literally hours to cross back to the USA midday on a Sunday. Happily, we had only one car ahead checking thru Customs. We got home at 5 AM this morning. I will NEVER take a vehicle into Canada at the Rainbow Bridge again, nor stay in one of these tourist trap hotels. I guess it's just a sign of these inflationary times.... everything up there is just out of sight. I don't expect something for nothing, but do expect at least a reasonable stay for my $297. I've never left a bad review before, but these clowns earned it. In a couple of words....Crowne Plaza Hotel Sucks. Do NOT stay there.

The hotel did not refund the 100 CAD deposit, and the room was outdated with an uncomfortable and cramped bathroom. Despite trying to reserve a falls view, we ended up with a parking lot view. There was only a thin blanket, and the pillows weren't as comfortable as described. The phone didn't work to contact the lobby or services. Overall, it was not worth the money, and we hope to get the deposit back soon. The breakfast restaurant had a good view but lacked good customer service. When we asked to change seats for a better view, the staff made excuses, but eventually, a waiter helped us move. In general, the hotel fell short of expectations, and we wouldn't recommend staying there, even with promotions.

Very satisfied. Location excellent, very convenient, good restaurant around, and friendly receptionist.

The bathroom was a bit tight, but the building was constructed in 1929, so that can be understood. The bathroom could use a little updating, though, as the wallpaper is old and quite unattractive, and the three-tier shelf was missing one of the glass shelf pieces (and with a bathroom that small, you need all the space you can get!). Aside from that, the room was a decent size, and the pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable. We prefer scratchy towels, and the ones we had in our room were the most scratchy towels that we've ever received at a hotel, so that is a plus. Additionally, all of the staff were quite friendly, and the building/property were kept clean and tidy, even with as busy as it was when we stayed (during peak season). If you're looking to be near all of the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hill, and don't mind a healthy stroll to the Falls, the Crowne Plaza is a nice place to stay. Just be sure not to pass the entrance for the parking lot on Falls Avenue, as it looks just like the sidewalk, and not like a driveway (it's immediately past the small "Crowne Plaza" sign)!

Gave our room to someone else then on top made us wait 1 hour outside the room door to be cleaned and only offered us hgi points in return worst service. Their jacuzzi doesn’t work.

Clean. And I could see falls a little bit. But it was great. Location is great. However it is really expensive.

Clean rooms and a lovely view of the Bridal Veil falls. Excellent service, all the staff were very polite and friendly. It was very convenient for Clifton Hill and the Horn Blower boat tour.
