I stayed here two nights in a Single Ensuite room. Limited check in hours but able to get slightly earlier thanks to staff member Michelle making herself available. It seems a well oiled and smooth operation, ideal for a budget stay for a couple of nights. Quite removed from the Centre and about 30 minutes walk from the Central Train Station. That said it is a convenient location for buses heading west towards Heddon and Hexham so ideal for stage walks on the Hadrian's Wall Path. My room was compact but certainly big enough for a solo traveller. It was clean and bright, a good shower and comfortable bed. Internet connectivity was good.

Stayed here as close to proximity of GNR and the check in was super the lady really is 100% friendly attentive and full of information. The room was great clean tidy and spacious the bathroom was a good size But then try sleeping at night we were kept awake by the dog’s opposite in a back yard both nights barking like mad and would not shut up!! Number of people shouted at the dogs to shut up from various buildings Second night was same problem think in 48hrs we slept 4 hrs I know not the hotels fault but maybe take ear plugs

Fab place to stay, Scott was really friendly and chatty, rooms had all we needed, liked the communal living room, meant we could sit together. Location was good for us, close to some lovely local cafes, and only £6 in an Uber to pubs and clubs. Will definitely go back.

I found this hotel to be comfortable and reasonable price and central location for the City. Very clean and tidy. Michelle was very helpful. Professional and friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it.
