DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Newark Airport

zeer goed hotel

The hotel is a little old and dated, but overall, it was clean. The first room assigned to me was rather unsettling as I had difficulty locating the room number, and it was situated between a different sequence of room numbers. On top of that, the air-conditioning was not working. However, the staff promptly arranged for me to change to another room, which I appreciated. As I only stayed for a few hours, I did not have much opportunity to experience the hotel’s other facilities or services. Overall, no further comments.

Booked for my dad he liked the hotel and the location is good too

My room was very clean it had everything I needed I had a balcony in the food was amazing it was so close to the airport and they had a free shuttle

Close to transportation to NYC, clean and excellent breakfast

Lots of issues in the first couple days, A special shout out to Jena, who truly made our trip. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and her kindness made such a difference to our family experience. People like Jena are what turn a stay into a memory — thank you for being amazing!

The room was spacious and well-suited for business travelers, with a large bed, sofa, and a generous work desk. The hotel is also very close to the airport. One thing to note is that the airport shuttle only runs every 30 minutes, so convenience may depend on your schedule and how rushed you are. Service was somewhat inconsistent. Some staff members were friendly and helpful, while others seemed less polished in their customer service. One shuttle driver was particularly warm and welcoming, but another came across as less professional, which left a less positive impression. The room and bathroom appeared clean overall. However, there was occasionally a faint musty odor in parts of the bathroom, possibly due to humidity. It wasn’t overwhelming, but it was noticeable at times. Overall, the spacious room and convenient airport location were definite highlights, though service quality and some maintenance details could be improved.
