Galaxy Motel

I always stay at the Galaxy when I want to get away. The rooms are large and nicely renovated. I always pay $140 for single King bed but next time I'm gonna get a double for $160 with 2 beds. For a single Brotha or Working man the Galaxy is it. There are always college girls coming to stay at the Hotel because they socialize with each other in the area and many are single students looking for Mr. Right to come along. I always meet an Intelligent girl from the area and we like to hang out in the room and watch T.V. Women in the area are very romantic and always kind and friendly. I recommend this place to any single Man visiting the area. Any bad reviews sounds like the guy was mad he was with his wife.. Take care and the Galaxy is good enought for me to call a Resort.

This place is not for the regular person. I can't believe ******* has it as a place to stay.

It's close to major bus routes. The bus stops right outside the front door. It's also accessible to the subway line which is quite a little walk but you can get to the subway bus. If you don't know you're way around the city, study the MTA map and download apps on your phone. The room was ok bathroom looked like it was freshly renovated. The staff was responsive with any issues. I'd stay there again. It had ample parking but I used the mass transit system. Cost effective.

This motel is totally disgusting and in a very dangerous part of BK. I'd stay away from it as it is known for its use by local ladies of the night. The rooms are dirty, and the sheets are unclean. Greasy headboard from all of the action these rooms see... There are NO dining options besides the beat-up vending machine. Also, there is no room service or any housekeeping. This place is just gross. STAY AWAY and DO NOT BE CONNED.

The room seemed clean at first glance. Upon further inspection, it’s like the cleaners swept everything under the bed and other places(fries, hair,etc). The hotel has a odor that doesn’t go away.. even after leaving I had the smell on my clothes.. it didn’t go away until I washed all my clothes and took 2 showers.The parking was good, they have a big parking lot in the back. But I would only stay here again if everything else in the area was booked and I had no other option. Honestly you can compare this place to staying the projects.. also the doors make noises so the whole time I’m thinking someone is trying to get in my room it’s just the vibrations from the building. I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m inclined to warn others to spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. That’s my honest review.

Reserve for one night was pleased clean and looked just like the picture on the web no complaints

It was fairly clean, and that's all I needed, but be advised, it's a sketchy place. There are weekly rates. I'm not sure if there's hourly rates, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are. I was desperate to find a place to sleep, and the bed was comfortable and clean, and that's all I cared about. I actually found parking on the street. They say they have limited free parking but I didn't inquire about it.

The room was clean but the area is not safe

Galaxy motel isn’t bad, comes off a lil sketchy bc of the area/ppl. But things were cleaned everyday, had no issues. Only thing keep in mind is u wake up in middle of night (2am-4am) a lot bc of the ppl loud banging on doors/walls, setting off fire alarms, & it’s on a very busy street so it’s not relaxing stay at all. Also the key card messes up almost daily so u can’t get in ur room.
