The property was an historic building with a remarkable ballroom and bar area still with incredible furnishings from its glory days. Things were a bit dingy and worn but for the most part it was acceptably clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The elevator would not operate if too many people were in it. Use the stares. The comp bikes apparently had been left out during pandemic closure and were no longer available. It was reminiscent of a stay in a Havana hotel.

Meerdere keren al verbleven alleen dit keer was toch iets minder. Zitten midden in een renovatie waar je weinig last van hebt maar je kan er nu alleen slapen. Verder weinig te beleven. Douche en toiletten waren schoon alleen verbleven er ook wat vreemde gasten wat bijna op daklozen leken. Kan het mis hebben maar heb best wat vage figuren in het hotel rond zien hangen.
Ben wel benieuwd hoe volgend jaar het hotel is na de renovatie.

It smells like pee in the hall. It is literally under construction with blocks and plastic wrap in parts of the halls and the lobby! At 11:30pm suddenly started a terrible noise of clanking metal for over an hour!!!. The room is the size of a 1.5 twin beds and I just hope it didn’t have some bug infestation. It was terrible! If you have any other choice, book elsewhere.

The place was terrible. Totally under construction and dusty. Should warn guess that are coming of the condition of the hotel. Probably would be closed if the City inspected it. DO NOT GO !!!!

We knew the property would be under renovation while we were there. They are pretty significant renovations, but they are confined to daytime hours and our room and the bathroom themselves were just as we expected them to be.
The bunk bed rooms are tiny, but serviceable for two people so long as you don't have really large suitcases. And the community bathrooms were well-maintained. I'd definitely suggest bringing shower shoes.

The Jane Hotel is under significant renovations with dust noise and workmen everywhere. For some it might be best not to stay.

It's tough because this place has a real opportunity to be a wonderful space that people would flock to. Unfortunately, there's so much construction atm, and most of the building needs a facelift, yet it has a lot of guests. Who knows, and for how it looks and feels, as well as what you get for the money you're spending, it's too expensive. You're really just paying for the neighbourhood.

It’s pretty much what I expected. Worth the money and great location. Don’t expect high end accommodations and you’ll probably be satisfied.
