Riverside Tower Hotel

The position of the hotel is great. near to the park, near to the Hudson River and just two blocks from subway station. The place is really quiet. Room was realy, realy small. Just sleep over and go discovering and visiting. but there was everything we needed. Plus nice view. There was coffee and Tee in the lobby for whole day. Stuff was great and helpful. Great place to stay if you are visiting New York and you need the place to sleep over and stay a couple of nights.

This is barely a hotel. I cannot recommend it. The rooms are the smallest I have ever seen anywhere. There is no closet, no chair, nowhere to put your suitcase or unpack your things, no telephone. The TV requires streaming from your device but the connection is so bad it only worked 10 percent of the time for me. And they did not have anyone to help with this problem. I booked this hotel for the location and while that was fine, I would never return. At one point I misplaced my plastic key card and they warned me there would be a $50 charge if I did not return it before leaving. Don't stay here.

We had a lot of problems during our stay for 9 nights. We always discussed this with the staff, who were all really nice, but the problems were not fixed. The AC didn’t work, being colder in the room than outside. Most days during our stay we just had warm water and the last two days we had to take cold showers because there was not hot water. The bathroom shower was always flooded and smelled really bad for a renovated hotel. No toilet brush provided. Not many towels provided as well. The cleaning was really bad and is only made after 3 nights in the hotel. We were never able to connect with the TV and they never cared to help us so we were never able to watch TV (would not count with this service). Also, there’s a metro station close to the hotel but it’s closed on weekends. The closest one is a 10/15 min walk. As they are under renovations there’s only one elevator working. They did not take full responsibility for everything that went wrong and keep ignoring our emails. Although they are under renovations and their rate is lower than other hotels is still crucial to provide minimum services as hot water, a warm room and proper cleaning, when running an hotel. I would not recommend you to stay here if these are important things for you. Definitely would pay more for a better place than being back here.

Ho soggiornato con un’amica dal 1 al 8 maggio 24. Stanza piccola ma estremamente pulita. Lo staff è cordiale ed estremamente disponibile. Io lo consiglio davvero ! E’ un ‘ottima soluzione per spendere poco in centro a Manhattan! Ottima location per la colazione con bevande disponibili the e caffè ad ogni ora in un ambiente friendly.
