Hotels bij Guanhai Pavilion, Nieuw Taipei

It is connected to the train station, which is a great plus since it kept raining everyday when we were there. However, it is not near any tourist attraction, e.g. took about 30min to reach Ximending but considering the room, service etc, the price is very worth it! We had a corner room so there's almost no noise from either through the walls or the door. The room looks trendy (so does the hotel lobby) , is spacious (bathroom has shower and bathtun) and most of all, clean! Staff is friendly and helpful. Told us about the free ice cream (pretty good but i wonder how often its being cleaned as there are ice cream exposed to the air from the previous use). We got a portable luggage weighing from the lobby and it is pretty accurate. Would love to go back again.

After coming back from Taiwan, I suddenly realized I hadn’t posted any photos or written a review about the adorable wooden cabin our family stayed in at Jiufen. Everyone in my family loved this place so much that I had to jot everything down now that I finally have some free time. Most people I know usually stay in Taipei longer and just make a day trip to Jiufen without spending the night. As for me—I’ve lived in Hong Kong for quite a while, so compared to Hong Kong, Taipei didn’t leave much of an impression on me in terms of sights or food. The only thing that truly made me want to visit Taiwan was Jiufen — a sparkling little gem between the mountains and the sea 🏮🌿🌊 Jiufen feels like a dreamy fairytale village with its winding narrow alleys, steep stone stairways, and the warm glow of red lanterns everywhere. Walking around felt like stepping into another world, almost like a scene from a manga — especially for anyone who’s watched Spirited Away. ⸻ ⭐🛖 Review of the wooden cabin called Twilight Forest in Jiufen Just a 5-minute walk from the Old town, this wooden cabin brings together the warm glow of wood and the peaceful feeling of retreating into nature. It has a unique A-frame design, and at night, when the lights turn on, the whole place becomes incredibly cozy — the golden light shining through the windows and the plants around it create a “hideaway from the world” kind of vibe. Inside, the space is open, airy, and tastefully decorated in a rustic style. There’s a small terrace with a swing chair hanging straight from the ceiling — sitting there at night, listening to insects and the wind rustling through the leaves, feels genuinely healing 🙃. 🛁🌿 Highlight: The glass-walled bathroom in the garden This is the standout feature of the cabin. The bathtub is large and comfortable, placed right next to a 180° glass wall looking directly into a lush green garden. Natural daylight pours in, making your daytime bath feel like an outdoor spa surrounded by plants. (There’s also a roller blind if you need privacy) Jiufen is a tiny village perched on a mountain, and it doesn’t have many hotels that offer spacious, comfortable accommodations. That’s why I was so happy to find this wooden cabin. Our family had the most wonderful two-night stay here. If I ever return to Taipei, I would definitely book this place again ❤️

We had 3nites stay. Great hotel, spacious, clean. Friendly staffs Bath tub is a great way to end your day after a long day out. Location:10 mins walk to Banqiao station for train/HSR Amenities:Hotel does not provide free basic amenities, NT100 per pack. Remember bring your own. Gym is chargeable, a pity There is an Osen, free for the guests 7-11 and Family near hotel There is a shop just opp the hotel that serve lamb hotpot during winter, very delicious. Highly recommended except the location if u are dragging your luggages.

De Illy koffie en thee aan de bar zijn gratis. - De Aromase showergel en shampoo in de badkamer ruiken heerlijk! - Het toilet is erg ruim en heeft een bidet, ik ben er gek op! - De geboekte Elite Family Room is erg ruim en biedt plaats aan 4 personen zonder krap te zijn, perfect voor reizigers met ouderen. - Het is 5 minuten lopen naar het Banqiao treinstation en het hogesnelheidsstation, waardoor het gemakkelijk is om overal te komen 😍. - Beneden zijn er op 2 minuten loopafstand een FamilyMart en Eslite, erg handig. - Bij binnenkomst in de lobby word je vriendelijk begroet door het hotelpersoneel, dat eventuele vragen geduldig beantwoordt. Soms helpen ze je zelfs met de lift, haha.

What's Hot: location is near bus routes to the airport (1962) & near the Banqiao bus/train/MRT terminals. Rooms are modern & new, well equipped and if you're on a higher floor, have great views of the city. The toilets are equipped with the latest Toto Japanese bidet type potties. There are filtered water dispensers on all floors next to the lifts. There are free snacks, drinks & beverages in the room provided. The TV has a large screen. Surroundings are filled with food, coffee & groceries (Family mart). What's Not: The reception area is small & congested, service is stressed out, efficient, but curt. Beds only have one pillow provided by default. Room air conditioning settings can't be controlled easily. Breakfast is actually served off site at their sister hotel next door (Caesar Park hotel) at the Lotus restaurant (good food though).

Had a wonderful experience staying at the Yun Hotel with my kids. This was probably one of my most relaxing staycations as we stayed in the Water Room with the hot spring and sizable living room. The front desk had an English speak gentlemen that took care of our check in, and described all the things we could do at the hotel. This place is very kid friendly with a dedicated play room on the second floor, and a mini race track with high end electric cars for the kids to drive. There's also a snacks, arts n crafts, and a movie theatre all on the ground floor. The people staffing all these venues were all very helpful and professional. Our morning breakfast was delivered on time and so delicious. There was so much food, 3 people could not finish the 2 sets. Can't wait to visit again during the next holiday!

日本友人來台，在住家附近訂了旅居文旅，結果日本朋友超級滿意！不僅乾淨衛生！一樓還有可免費使用的交誼廳；最意外的是還有提供免費的小餅乾！冰淇淋以及早上必備的咖啡！！都是免費使用，因為有很多台灣朋友會來訪，真的是可以來杯咖啡慢慢聊的那種！真的是很棒的入住體驗。

Het hotel lijkt meer op een serviced appartement, recht tegenover de uitgang van station Sanchong, heel handig! Ik zag in de opmerkingen van andere mensen dat het tegenover station Cailiao ligt, dus we moesten met onze koffers een heel station over straat lopen bij zo'n warm weer! Omdat we rond één uur aankwamen, bood het hotel aan dat we voor 300 ********* dollars al eerder konden inchecken. Ze gaven ons echter ook een upgrade naar een betere kamer, wat het absoluut waard was! Er zijn robots die eten bezorgen, er is een PX Mart in de buurt en beneden is een café. De kamer beschikt over een koelkast en een wasmachine, wat ik persoonlijk erg fijn vind!

Er was geen personeel bij de receptie van het hotel toen ik aankwam, maar de man bij de receptie stond misschien buiten de deur en zou hier binnenkort zijn. Hoewel ik online heb betaald, moet ik nog steeds betalen als ik naar het hotel ga. Er wordt gezegd dat de aanbetaling online staat en dat de kamerprijs bij aankomst wordt betaald. Het hotel verstrekte geen flessenwater, wegwerptandenborstels of kammen. De kraan in het toilet is moeilijk te bedienen (raar), hij moet omhoog getrokken worden om water eruit te krijgen. De airconditioner kan de temperatuur niet aanpassen, het is erg koud. Er is geen douchegordijn in de toilet-doucheruimte, waardoor er tijdens het douchen overal water morst. De badkamer ziet eruit alsof deze al een hele tijd niet schoon is geweest, maar deze is niet onlangs geopend. De locatie is niet goed, ver weg van twee MRT-stations. Er is een bushalte in de buurt.
