Sonder the Printing Press

We loved our stay at the Sonder Printing Press! It was a nicely decorated, comfortable property fully outfitted with everything we needed. The building felt secure and the neighborhood felt safe. It was walkable to both Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street and there were many good restaurants even closer, of which we enjoyed Pluck Wine Bar just downstairs, Meril, Restaurant R’evolution and Cochon. Getting into the front gate was a little confusing as the code seems to be one digit short, but just wait a few seconds and it will unlock. Once we figured that out, getting in and out was a breeze.

I absolutely love love love staying here. This has by far been the easiest booking I’ve come across. The location is perfect, the place is always very very clean and I literally have zero complaints. My most recent check in, I was left a note with appreciation because I’ve booked so many times with them. I hope that they remain the same and never change!

Everything was so neat and clean, it felt like home. Checking in was easy. Close to Mothers and the WWII museum. Space was big and spacious. Would definitely book another Sonders. The only thing I would say, which isn't a deal breaker, the washer didn't work that well. Other than that fantastic!!!

Frequent visits to New Orleans have had us in all kinds of accomodations. We stayed in unit 504 - a one-bedroom. The unit was clean and well-appointed for our 5-night stay. Close to a grocery store and CVS as well as restaurants. The unit itself is missing a full-length mirror and some hooks in the bathroom. We had to hang out towels on the coat rack. Additionally, the bedroom doesn't have any window coverings (only Venetian blinds) so when the sun comes up the room is full of light. Typically when you stay in an Airbnb there are basic toiletries. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel but there was no soap or soap dispenser at any of the sinks. During our time at the Printing Press, there was a sewage smell on the first floor. The main door to the building was consistently left open, perhaps guests were trying to air the lobby out but in New Orleans, leaving doors open is never safe.

Great location and perfect for the family. Enjoyed our stay. Unit was a little “tired”. Hole in the bathroom wall where TP holder was replaced. Paint needed a refresh and pillows were fairly flat. All that said, we would stay again as it met our needs.

Everything was convenient, congenial and comfortable. The extra towels and other items were a nice touch as were the array of items in the lobby credenza. I would recommend that a sign be placed in each part me t to notify the guests of its existence. I did not learn of it until I was waiting for our ride in the lobby. The location is central with the added bonus of Pluck downstairs and Herbsaint on the corner. We appreciated the spaciousness and appoin**ents. We will be back and out local friends have decided to recommend other friends to this location.

We had a great stay at Sonder. A/C and ceiling fans were very necessary in June. Good location, easy walk to the French Quarter and right by the trolly. There's both a CVS and supermarket with liquor/beer/wine one block away. There's only Chromecast and a HDMI available from the television. Thanks

The apar**ent was very clean. It was perfect for our family of five. Very quick response from the Sonder team as well. Great area. Walking distance to bus stops, within walk to lots of great restaurants in the central business district

The unit was clean and customer service was quickly accessible. However, we had power outages every day of our 5 day stay, which caused me to be late to work meetings and we spent hours just sitting in the dark. They never fixed the issue during our stay. Again, customer service was very responsive and they offered a refund, but we just wanted to have consistent power. As long as your power works, you’ll enjoy the unit. It was like having a private apar**ent with a virtual concierge.
