The check in is smooth, the building is old but its just alittle bit uncomfortable because some of the beds are old and broken. This is just can to sleep for a day. We forgot the slipper of my wife and called the hotel right away and they found it and kept it for us for couple of hours. Kudos to the front desk.

If you want a weekly or monthly stay with Section 8 or HUD housing this is your place. This is not a vacation rental or Hotel, this is a homeless shelter in New Orleans. Homework taped to doors, bicycles and bbq’s on every porch. Pool as nd Hot Tub are closed. Women of the night are outside and ready for night entertainment. Not safe for children or adults.
Motel staff is unprofessional and rude. This is not a vacation resort or hotel. THIS IS A WEEKLY HOUSING FACILITY NOT A HOTEL OR MOTEL

Beds are comfortable but that is probably the only positive thing about this place. The area is unsafe. AND THE WATER...there is no hot water unless you want to let it run for 45 minutes! Then to top it off, the bathroom door would not close and the 1 of the 2 room we had smelled of vomit. It was a rough night to say the least.

The price was reasonable. I was staying at the Midtown Hotel for one week, visiting NO for a conference (held at the Morial Convention Centre) in March '24 and I did not see any special problems or issues. The bed sheets were clean and the staff was nice. There was always hot water in the evening. However, the water was always only "room temperature" from 5:30 AM - 8:30 AM, regardless of how long the tap was running. Inside the hotel - it was clean, outside so-so. The neighbourhood is poor but seemed safe. There are good public transport connections /bus stations nearby - I've used the Le Pass app and/or Google Maps. The location may not be suitable for vulnerable people.

The staff was great in particular the one woman who was in the front desk most often was really excellent.
Down fall the lighting and hair dryer and the fact the the shower was difficult to get hot but from my understanding this is just past of New Orleans

The location in New Orleans I actually did get checked into a room. It smelled very bad and the hot water did not work. It was freezing and unusable. I asked them to move rooms and they stated that the whole hotel had no hot water and it should be working in a couple of hours after that I left the hotel and came back. Then they stated that the hot water would not resume until the following evening so they also said we could leave with a full refund. You need this location as well asap and speak with the managers. You have the dates and times. This is unacceptable. We had to take an uber all the way to the Clarion and pay for a clean room with hot water. I want both of my refunds and the roundtrip transportation. Please escalate these matter asap.

The attendants at the property were so nice to me and made me feel at home, they helped me find things to do and places to eat at. I arrived at this venue extremely sad and they made my experience way better. My room was quiet and peaceful, the poolside was nice super clean and quiet. Anytime I needed to talk or help Ms. Carol was right there, everyone was really sweet.
