They were in the middle of renovating the lobby and breakfast area and it was a bit of a mess. When asked why they didn’t let people know that before we stayed, we were told that it IS on the hotels main website but not on outside travel websites. Breakfast was nothing like what the hotel website showed due to being in a smaller room with few food and seating options. Will be returning to the Best Western across the street next time. We’ve been there and enjoyed it much more.

Despite the ongoing renovation, the Holiday Express Leland was fully operational. Louise and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were not inconvenienced in any way. Breakfast was varied, fresh and plentiful, and our room was clean, updated and comfortable. We’ll be back!

Our room could’ve been clean a little bit more. The remote was under the AC and no one knew that, also tea and coffee stains were on and around the microwave and I didn’t see that until last day when checking out. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The room was up-to-date and spacious.

Too many broken items ice machine, no water at breakfast, card keys had to constantly reprogrammed, hallway walls and floors had spill marks all over, and the place was just filthy.

The hotel is under renovation so the TV was a problem because it wasn't setup correctly. Also the phone didn't work in the room so I couldn't get a wake-up call

The coffee was good when they made it. The breafast ****** in my opinion. The mattress made my back hurt 2 mornings.

Nice location in relationship to the beach. Room did not have a pull out bed as advertised on *******, and hotel described third party companies as providing "false" advertisement. This reconciliation would help in planning and selection.
