Marival Emotions Resort & Suites - All Inclusive

Honestamente no volvería a reservar con Marival emotions Vallarta, ni en ningún hotel de su cadena, han sido de las peores vacaciones en familia que he tenido, desde que llegamos todo estuvo mal. 1. Nos entregaron las 2 habitaciones y eran las incorrectas, aunque las llaves abrieron eran de otros huéspedes y nos tuvimos que salir, al ir a recepción a aclarar la situación, ni disculpas pidieron. 2. En el cuarto y los pasillos encontramos en varias ocasiones cucarachas. 3. Nuestra habitación en 3 ocasiones de 4 no pudo ser limpiada ya que a las 5 de la tarde seguía sin hacerse y era la hora en que subíamos a bañarnos y descansar. 4. No hay meseros en las albercas y el bar de la alberca lo cierran a las 5pm. 6. Los camastros de la playa no los limpiaban, todos los días amanecían sucios de arena, además de que no eran suficientes ni los de la alberca para la cantidad de huéspedes y la gente terminaba sentándose en el piso o en los jardines frente a las habitaciones. 7. La reserva de restaurante a la carta, solo tienes derecho a 2 cuando te hospeda por 5 noches. 8. Los meseros en los restaurantes evidentemente no son suficientes para la cantidad de huéspedes, ya que su servicio no era bueno, tardaban muchísimo en traer las bebidas o de plano no lo traían. 9. En una ocasión en el buffet había una área para preparar licuados y tenían fruta a escoger, le pedí al que estaba atendiendo si me podía regalar un poco de kiwi aunque no fuera licuado y me lo negó, me dijo que solo era para los licuados y no podía tomarlo. 10. La reserva no incluye wifi para que lo consideren, el cajero no servía, los elevadores muuuuuy descuidados... En fin. Entiendo que te pase 1 o 2 cosas que no te agraden en una estancia pero creo que esto fue más que solo mala suerte, es evidente que el hotel no se preocupa por la calidad en el servicio, no deberían decir que es de 5 estrellas, cuando claramente parece de 2. Les recomiendo pensarlo 2 veces antes de reservar en este hotel, lo único rescatable es la comida, felicidades al chef y la playa.

Great facility. Food was well presented and very tasty considering the huge volume required for all the guests. Only downside was the reservation system for the a la carte restaurants. We weren’t able to book any the entire week we were there despite arriving early on Sunday . It seems there aren’t enough spaces even though the Mediterranean restaurant was half full every time we walked by it.

This is a beautiful resort and the location is great! We loved the pickleball courts and our family really enjoyed the use of the bikes they have available! The only thing is it’s a very busy resort and it seems like the staff have a hard time keeping up! There a lineups for everything and there is no pool service for drinks. But if you don’t mind getting your own drinks and waiting in line for the buffet, drinks, ice cream and also just the overall busy a**osphere then likely you will really enjoy this resort!

Did not like anything about the property it was dirty and no customer service the pictures I saw on ******* was pictures of there other resort which was much cleaner, the pictures were mixed pictures of both properties which we got to stay at the bad property overall trip was not good there service was horrible

Absolutely loved our trip to Marival!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and the drinks were even better! Very family friendly as well. The beach is huge, sandy, and amazing to swim in! Can’t wait to be back Marival thank you!!

The property was very nice. The beds are old and need to be changed. There willingness to accommodate to a King size bed was not met. I asked 6 weeks prior and they could not fulfill the request. The food needs an upgrade. Its was mediocre at best. The afternoon snack bar was horrible!! They need a chef to revamp and add flavour and better options. We are two Italians and the Italian food was very sub par. The pasta dishes lacked flavour and the sauce very watery. We won’t be going back to Marival.

We travelled from Feb 8-11, 2024. Pros: - Adult pool was lovely; comfy chairs there - Beach Party Dinner was nice to eat outside - Breakfast buffet was decent. - Ate at Las Palamos - good food - Martini bar upstairs - best mezcal hibiscus margarita - favourite drink of the stay. - Location on the beach was great, as expected with any resort in Nuevo. Cons: - We did not see ANY AED machines here. And frankly, the resort was full of retirees. When we asked, we were told that they had a nurse there but no AED on site. - Buffet food at lunch and dinner were far from desirable. - The resort services a cruise ship day excursion on the Sunday we were there. This created HUGE line ups everywhere. The buffet staff were overwhelmed; service was terrible/non-existent; Pools were overcrowded. - Rooms are dated. - Sink in the room smelled of sewage when the taps ran. - Coffee maker and mugs provided in the room - NO COFFEE provided; - "Mini bar" was two beer and two Pepsis - Check in was confusing; wrong room given; no orientation of where anything was or how to book the a la carte. - the "Magic Show" on Saturday turned out to be a Kids Karaoke Night. - Gym needs a serious update and was dusty and dirty. FYI - there is no wifi in the gym - so plan in advance if you were going to stream a workout to follow there (i.e. Peloton) - looks NOTHING like the photos. - Staff and customer support was underwhelming to say the least.

Staff is amazing. Food and live entertainment could be improved. The small bit of music we got to see only lasted less than an hour.

This resort was very well maintained, was very clean and had great services.. we were a family group of 11 with ages from 3-65… We all thoroughly enjoyed the resort and had no issues for such a large group.. we found the food outstanding, specialty restaurants were extremely good dining experiences! The resort had a Mexican Fiesta night outdoors one night and an outdoor grill night on another. These were great inclusions we all loved. Huge amount of effort putting these on and the food/entertainment was excellent! Pools and beach were A1. They were very clean, never a problem getting pool and beach chairs. Swim up bars we’re great.. The staff at this resort are wonderful. We had great service throughout and were impressed at how well we were treated at every venue.. None of our party had any gastro issues on the entire trip and that is normally not possible. They use bottled water and food handing is obviously a priority! The only issues we had were with specialty restaurant reservations process. You must attempt to get these after arriving at a desk between 8&3 daily.. not easy to get any at desirable times for young children and availability is an issue.. system needs to be easier as I saw long lines at times and it needs to be more fluid.. No bottled water is available in resort. They have water coolers in each floor for rooms. They aren’t large so do run out regularly, would really like plastic bottles instead, especially for pools and beach
