Heerlijke rustplaats aan het einde van de reis voor vertrek naar Dehli. Tal van vogels (geluiden), goede keuken en bezielde persoonlijke service. Relaxt dorpje waar toeristen nog niet zijn neergestreken om alles te bezoedelen. We wandelden alleen rond zonder vreemde of opdringerige reacties en kregen een mooie 'farm life' rondleiding door de eigen oogstvelden wa***it de keuken al haar ingrediënten haalt. De 'high tea' op de boerderij is ontroerend bescheiden, 'echt' en leuk om te ervaren. De koe wordt gemolken en het leven gaat door tot zonsondergang. Mooie wandeling na al dat auto-zitten. De bediening en persoonlijke service bij de maaltijden is top. Tijdens de rondleiding in de stallen, info over de marwar paarden, veulens en kennismaking met kameel voel je de toewijding van het personeel. Roop Niwas Kothi is een aanrader na de bustling cities. Very Good Hotel Room, we enjoy for 3 hours outdoor horse back riding. Dinner is awesome. Staff are more than 5 stars hospitality, very kind from the Heart. Owner also very very nice person. Horses is very lovely & healthy. We would recommend to visit here.

Roop Niwas Kothi is uniquely positioned for its royal family members inolvement (giving sense of history to travellers), heritage character of stay, experiential offerings, lots of space. less-touristy and more authentic character of Nalwalgarh as a whole. What was an eye opener was that ***dawa Havelis are poor cousins of ones at Nawalgarh, which are most impressive. Even the market was buzzing and a walking around was an experience. So for heritage and experiential travellers Nawalgarh is a must stay. Rooms at Roop niwas Kothi are large, well maintained and some are even newly renovated. The two bedroom with a hall in between with a TV is nice as we were able to see the cricket match in evening. Meals and services were good and meal prices are reasonable (Was expecting to be higher). Because of the large spread of the area, overall experience here is very relaxing (while being very close to the nawalgarh old city and town centre) The horses when they are freed in evening, the few minutes spent around them was a unique experience. All in all it was a weekend well spent and definitely memorable one !!

This was one of several times I have stayed at this wonderful place with my motorcycle groups. It's an oasis of calm and comfort in this region on the edge of the Thar desert in the Shekhawati. A stop here on our Rajasthan tours is always appreciated by everyone in our groups. Accommodation is fantastic, food is delicious. You will get an authentic experience of staying in a heritage property with all modern comforts. The stables with the marwari horses is a bonus treat. The swimming pool is inviting on the hot days. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to stay in the area.

I visit Nawalgarh quite often, but this was was my first stay at Roop Niwas Kothi. It was an excellent experience. The property is huge, has a pool, well maintained lawns and with a Stable next door. Watching the horses being groomed, was itself an experience. The rooms are big and spacious and very well maintained. The living area adjacent to the rooms is very convenient and cosy. I was surprised with the upkeep, specially when things were not so normal during the Covid days. The food was excellent - all the preparations. Lastly the Staff was very nice and well ***nered. eager to help with a smile. overall the stay was fantastic....would love to go back in due course...

We have just returned from our stayed at Roop Niwas Kothi for 3 nights. This is a spacious well appointed building with tastefully decorated rooms. The green lawns with peacocks running through them and the stables with over 40 horses make this a unique experience. The food is freshly made to order since we were the only people staying there and the quality was fantastic. An added bonus is listening to the stories recounted by the owner Devendra Singh who is a part of the original family that founded Nawalgarh. The property has a good blend of historic ambience with all modern comforts including a pool. The Havelis of Nawalgarh are just walking distance from the property. It was a memorable experience and worth coming back to.

Everything at this property went beyond my expectations. Absolutely amazing place and staff. Surendra is an outstanding ***ager and a host. He showed me around the property, and presented several rooms to choose to stay in. Rooms are very tasteful and elegant. Dinner was amazing - I had Lal Maas washed with a few glasses of Sula Shiraz. You can also unwind with a drink by the bonfire. They also have a stable and organise horse-riding trips - if only I had more time!! I cannot wait to be back!!
