Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island

My husband and I spent a week at Sandals Royal Bahamian at the end of January and had THE BEST TIME EVER! Everything about our trip was fabulous but one of the reasons why we really loved the experience we had at Sandals was the people who work there were wonderful, really the best. This was our first all-inclusive vacation. He is sixty and I am fifty years-old. The entertainment coordinator Genie was so fun and friendly and was the last person we spoke with before heading on our shuttle to head back to the airport. She gave us hugs like old friends and said sweet kind goodbyes while teaching me some last-minute dance moves. Genie was one of the highlights of our trip, especially for entertainment at the east bay pool and at the honeymoon gathering. Giovanni and James (ketchup and mustard or maybe I have it backwards) managed the nighttime entertainment, were our DJs and organized couples games. Again, very fun and entertaining. We are the kind of people who like to take part and we highly enjoyed the silly couple's games and hanging out with Giovanni and James. Coconut Grove is relaxing with all of the couches and comfy places to sit. We listened to the singer Angel who has a fantastic voice, and while sitting out in the evening with very high cool winds they handed out blankets to everyone. It's little extras like this that stick with people and make an impact. Angel got my (slightly tipsy!) husband Dave to sing "Sweet Caroline" with her and for the rest of the trip people kept coming up to him and saying, "Hey you're Dave!" Food and drink were tasty and abundant. We never waited long for our drinks, and when we did wait the bartenders would chat with us, offer advice, ask us questions and were in general very friendly and sociable. On our first night Chardonay and Andrew were exceptionally friendly and conversational. Part of our trip the days were very windy and somewhat cool, so at times not many people were in the pool and everyone who made our drinks would talk with us. Natalie, Melvin and Noel especially, although everyone we met was very kind. It made us feel special and like we want to come back (soon!) Noel gave me plenty of tips about were to go at Fish Fry and how to get there. We were very blessed that for some reason Sandals upgraded our room to a swim up suite which we loved. It was sheltered from the wind and the water was pretty warm so we were able to hang in the water outside of our room, away from the wind. A big thank you to Sandals for that free upgrade. Our room had towel animals, rose petals, chilled champagne, robes, liquor, beer, wine, mixers and water. Towels, toiletries and fridge was kept well stocked all week. If our privacy was not on we received a room service daily, and a nightly turn down (which I've never experienced before.) We felt very spoiled. Oh, and VERY comfy mattresses, pillows and blankets. This trip was one of my favorites so far. It was my first stay at a Sandals resort and it exceeded my expectations. The views were amazing, the food was good, and the staff was great. Those beautiful blue waters are not exaggerated, fyi. We stayed for 3 days but it was not long enough for me. I also have to make a shoutout to the amazing beautiful Kimberly for her assistance in planning another trip and to the multitalented handsome Giovanni for making the experience so lively. I would love to come back again!

My wife and I celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary and my birthday at Sandals Royal Bahamian and I must say it was fantastic to say the least. The staff were welcoming and pleasant the entire time. From Keno, Jamal, Chauncey and even Kevin the maintenance professional on the private island to name a few. The atmosphere was heavenly, food was phenomenal to which we didn’t have a bad meal. The food trucks were great shout out to Sweets N Tings for great coffee and you guessed it sweets. Loved it so much we booked for next year and thank you Zetta for facilitating that.

The staff was beyond spectacular from restaurants to the spa to the butlers. Arshad went above and beyond in his efforts to keep every aspect of our days seamless and comfortable - his kindness and efforts surpassed all expectations. Dewayne also went above and beyond, checking in on us frequently to be sure everything was going smoothly. They thought of everything and took care of all the finer details we wouldn’t have even thought of. Reservations, chairs by the pool or beach, coolers with our favorite drinks… everything was taken care of!

We had a wonderful experience with three great Butlers: Chad, Andrae and Donard. They made sure our stay was relaxing and luxurious. The renovations in the East Building Rooms are so beautiful. Our balcony overlooking the ocean was beyond comparison; starting our day with breakfast on the balcony was the BEST. Enjoyed each restaurant especially La Plume, Butch's and Gordons. The gym renovations are great. Also had so much fun with Edelis in Mr. B's Bar: fantastic martinis! David helped us sail and was so fun! Thank you to all; one of our best vacations ever! We already have 97 nights at Beaches/Sandals and have booked two more trips for 2025!!

Stayed in the newly renovated East Bay and it was lovely. Had my FAV Butler Eric !!! He was awesome as usual but I have to mention others that stood out. Shanell and Kendrick our other butlers were awesome also. First day met Salina ( I beleive she is a new customer relations manager). I told her that the room was great except they took away lounge chairs on the balconey. A few hours later there were lounge chairs on my balcony. What service !!! She even went out of her way to find us at dinner and ask if everything was ok. I had my first massage while I was there and Nicole was fantastic !!! While at the quiet pool Micah made sure that we had drinks all day !! What a wonderful time !! Thanks Sandals !!

My husband and I can’t express how happy we were with our first Sandals vacation. We already rebooked for 2025 and 2026 ! Loved it! Having the Elite Butler service was our best decision! Our Royal Bahamian Butlers, Sterling and Kevinson, went above and beyond our expectations.

My husband and I traveled to Sandals Royal Bahamian in April 2024 for a week and absolutely loved it. Mark was our driver to/from the airport and he was fantastic. Showed us spots along the way and is just a fantastic, fun person. We were then greeted at Sandals and taken to our butler checkin where we met one of butlers for the week. We had Kevinson and Sterling for the week and they literally did everything they could to make us feel so special and appreciated. Phenomenal people. Avis was working Island Tours desk the entire time we were there and she kept us up to date with the available tours. We did the walking Taste of Nassau and Cultural Tour and Lisa was our tour guide. She is amazing. Fun, knowledgeable, helpful and hilarious. The tour itself was great and I encourage everyone to go on it. We spent a few times at the Private Island. Go as often as you can. What a gem. We honestly had the best trip and can’t wait to go back. Favorite meals include and antipasto bar at Tesoro’s and the chicken parm was great. We loved La Plume. The duck was perfect. Highly recommend. The scallop appetizer at Gordon’s is great. Everyone we met and talked to was so friendly and helpful. Such a great time.

The resort is absolutely beautiful! The island was amazing. VERY RELAXING! The evening entertainment was phenomenal!
