Hotels bij Cathedrale de Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul, Nantes

At arrival we were welcomed by Anthony who helped us entering the street of the pedestrian zone and the parking lot. Fortunately there were still parking spaces , there are 10 in total, if available it is free. That’s a plus! What a service. He helped us check in show us around. When our safe has a technical failure he sorted a solution providing a new one. The hotel is in the middle of the centre 2 minutes from La Cigale. Good breakfast with self service nespresso coffee and the best madeleine. What disappointed me was the inappropriate frugality of the amenities. Why one bottle of 500 ml mineral water while we are with 2 persons? How much does this cost? And used Rituals toiletries from previous guests? Seriously in a 4 star hotel. When questioning they came with 2 new mini bottles but in the end give me one new bottle to replace the half used one. Why so stingy? When informing it was because of sustainability and to prevent waste. A good cause but why bothering using mini toiletries at all and not change to use only large bottles of refillables? It feels a bit half-hearted and unable to choose between customer service and thriftiness.

Ik verbleef in een zeer ruime kamer – zoals de beschrijving al aangeeft, is het een appartement, dus je kunt er zelf koken als je wilt (ik heb het niet gedaan; de culinaire scene van de stad is veel te verleidelijk!). Het personeel was ontzettend behulpzaam en alles aan mijn verblijf was gewoonweg fantastisch. De omgeving van het hotel is heerlijk rustig, perfect voor een goede nachtrust. Een klein puntje van aandacht: het is ongeveer 25 minuten lopen naar het stadscentrum, maar ik heb er juist van genoten – ideaal om even de benen te strekken en de bezienswaardigheden in me op te nemen. Als je net als ik graag te voet op ontdekkingstocht gaat, is dat een extra pluspunt!

Personeel was vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Appartement was uitstekend, net als het uitzicht vanuit de ramen. Veel ruimte om te ontspannen en voldoende ruimte om te koken en het diner te serveren (mooie grote houten tafel). Zou het 5 sterren hebben gegeven (in plaats van 4) voor voorzieningen, behalve dat we problemen hadden met het bedienen van het fornuis (we hadden geen van beiden eerder een inductiekookplaat gebruikt en wisten niet dat we de potmaat moesten matchen met de ring-/kookplaatmaat en dus het bleef ons in verwarring brengen). Het was voor mijn verjaardag en het personeel had gelukkige verjaardagsballonnen op het bed gelegd en dat was een leuke touch. Het was een fijne verjaardag en ik heb genoten van de ruimte, de wijn en het eten dat we kookten. Douche was ook merkbaar fijn.

Great hotel with clean rooms & wonderful restaurant serving good breakfast and tasty pizzas. Parking in the adjacent street or nearby shop. Tram line 3 right outside to reach the centre in 15 minutes (free at the weekend). A couple of other restaurants & shops nearby. The vibe of the hotel is brilliant, as are the staff & signage.

Отличный отель в Нанте. Относительно близко к вокзалу и к достопримечательностям. Бесплатный кофе на ресепшене и чай. Комната хорошего размера. Не работал лифт. Нам в целом все понравилось

The room and hotel was really clean. It is located in an accessible location. Walking distance from the train station. The staff were all really friendly and very helpful. Checking in and checking out was really easy and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Something I really appreciated that they are really environmentally conscious. Just something for everyone to take note will be that toothbrush and toothpaste is not offered. Also, some small things that could be better would be that the railing for the towels seem to be coming off. However, these were really minor issues that we faced.

Le stuff de la réception et du petit-déjeuner étaient vraiment sympathiques. Le seul défaut était que quelques chaînes ne fonctionnaient pas à la télévision.

De dienst was geweldig, super toegankelijk en oppassend. We werden verrast toen we naar de kamer kwamen en we zagen alle comfort die we hadden. De verwarmingsapparaat was ongetwijfeld de beste van alle, om het koude te maken dat zich op straat voelde. Het is een goede locatie, want we kunnen het centrum van Nantes bereiken, zowel op lopen als op straat.

I went for an oversea training in Nante and spent 2 weeks in this hotel, I chose this hotel is mainly because of their flexibility on Trip.com and the price is within company requirement. The location is good, around 15 mins walk to city center, and door step to Tram station. The service and cleanliness are just normal, the facilities are quite old school, especially the TV. It's a stand TV, really ”long time no see” this kind of TV in a hotel. Have wardrobe, no safe box or lockers, shower cubicle is small. However, as what we always say, you get what you paid for. There was one day the cleaner helped me clean the room then left my window opened (wide open mode), I'm staying on level 2 (1st floor as per the lift), if someone want to climb up, will be very possible. The 2nd time room cleaning didn't have this issue, so I guess it's the first cleaner forgot to close my window. In addition, the first cleaner never re-fill the toilet roll for me, at first I thought here need to purchase toilet roll (as a budget hotel), so I bought some tissues on my own. Then 2nd time room cleaning, the cleaner left me 2 more toilet rolls... then I realized, the hotel is providing toilet rolls, just the 1st cleaner forgot it. In conclusion, the 2nd cleaner is good, the 1st cleaner is a forgetful person. On my checkout day, there was a crazy women smashed the reception desk. this is not hotel's fault, they were calmly solving this problem. They are quite professional, just a bit unlucky. In general, my suggestion is, for business travel here is not a good choice, better choose a more secured place to stay. If for personal short stay, you can consider it as a budget choice.

When i arrived at the hotel reception there was a sweet lady that explained to me everything I needed to know about the amenities and the accommodation. That's a big plus from me. Very close to F.C. Nantes stadium, if someone is interested. The room was medium size with almost everything you might need. The bathroom has all the amenities but the shower room was a bit downsized. The only big disappointment from my point of view was the lack of air- con ( they have just a fan that doesn't make any difference when it is 36 degrees outside).
