This is not always a given in China, as some hostels and hotels still do not accommodate foreign travelers. If you are visiting from Europe or any other country, you can book and stay here with confidence. Most importantly, everything you see in the photos is exactly what you get in reality. The pictures are 100% accurate and perfectly reflect the actual condition of the hostel. Everything is genuinely new, very well maintained, and exceptionally clean. There are no misleading photos or unpleasant surprises upon arrival - what you see online is exactly what you will find when you check in. Despite having only a small number of reviews, I believe this is mainly because the hostel is still very new. You can immediately notice that almost everything inside is new and extremely well maintained. The cleanliness is outstanding. I have stayed in more than 100 hostels around the world, and this is honestly one of the cleanest hostels I have ever experienced, if not the cleanest. Another thing that deserves special mention is the facilities available to guests. The hostel has a refrigerator, which is surprisingly uncommon in many hostels. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, so you can easily prepare your own meals if you prefer. A dining area with a table is available as well, making it comfortable to sit down and eat. The hostel also provides free laundry facilities. Washing detergent is included, so you can do your laundry at no extra cost. There is even a dedicated area where you can hang your clothes to dry afterwards, which is incredibly convenient for long-term travelers and backpackers. The hostel is located on the 25th floor and offers fantastic views of the city. It is also very quiet, making it a great place to rest after a day of exploring. The host is an incredibly kind and caring woman who genuinely looks after her guests. She checks on your arrival, asks about your travel plans, gives recommendations on what to see in the city, and even suggests local food and dishes to try. You can really feel that she wants every guest to have a pleasant stay. Although she does not speak English, communication is still surprisingly easy thanks to the AI translation available through Trip.com. We had no significant communication problems during my stay. If the owner continues improving her English over time, I honestly believe this could become one of the best hostels in Nanning. She has a genuinely kind heart, and her hospitality is exceptional. I will remember this stay for a very long time. It was one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had, and I would happily stay here again.

Een heel mooi, al lang bestaand hotel. Het is erg rustig en op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van het hogesnelheidsstation. Veel opstapplaatsen voor dagtochten liggen direct aan de overkant van de straat. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en er zijn veel goede restaurants in de buurt van het hotel. De metro ligt pal naast het hotel.

From the moment I walked in, I felt the warm hospitality and attention to detail that the hosts had put into this place. First off, the location is superb. Situated on Minzu Avenue, this apartment is not only convenient but also offers easy access to many of the city’s main attractions and amenities. Whether you’re looking to explore local restaurants, hit up shopping districts, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the area, you’ll find it all within close proximity. The convenience alone made my stay incredibly easy and stress-free. Upon entering the apartment, I was immediately impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The hosts clearly take pride in ensuring the space is spotless and inviting. The decor is modern yet warm, with touches of local flair that give it a unique charm. The furniture is both stylish and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. My room was spacious and equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable stay, including a very comfortable bed, which ensured I had restful sleep every night. One of the highlights was the attention to detail in the amenities provided. From high-speed Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like bottled water, toiletries, and even some local snacks, it was evident that the hosts went out of their way to make guests feel at home. The kitchen area was well-stocked with basic utensils, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. This was a huge plus for me, as it offered a sense of flexibility and added comfort. This is obviously a very nice hotel and I would recommend and would stay here again. Luxury is very obvious all over this hotel, and it is frankly very cheap for what it is. The moment we came in, bellhops insisted to carry our bags up to the 80th floor lobby. They were always opening doors for us and very helpful with our bags, 24/7. Once we arrived, we were welcomed in and sat down at an individual desk for check in. There, we were served some excellent tea. The hotel purser came over and welcomed us in. My girlfriend is Chinese and spoke to the staff in Chinese, but the purser switched up to English to welcome me to the hotel, which is a nice detail. Most Chinese hotel staff consistently avoid putting in the effort to speak English to me. The hard product is amazing and is matched well with great service. Staff were always attentive and welcoming in both Chinese and English, always saying hello and checking in. The cons: This hotel, just like most Marriott hotels, is trying to nickel and dime you, which doesn’t make a lot of sense at this price point. In some ways it isn’t, such as an included mini-bar (all non-alcoholic), but for example it doesn’t have a laundry service, while basically any 3-5 star hotel in China would have included laundry. Also, there is a car transfer service, but it’s so absurdly priced for no particular reason. 400 rmb+ for basic transfers where as a Didi would be 10 rmb. Similar luxury properties such as the Ritz-Carlton has these amenities included. The restaurants were nice. We only tried Na Lian, which despite being an in-house guest and being told that they could get reservations for us, we basically were treated like walk-in’s despite being told we had reservations (and we were unable to get a window seat). The bar was also nice and we enjoyed it, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bar manager waited for us to arrive, but the bar consistently had spend limits for any table or reservation, which additionally just seemed silly, considering we were already staying in a booked deluxe room. The drinks and lamb were very good. The menu was a little outdated, and illustrated wine by the glass, but we were then told that the menu is wrong and they don’t do that. Also, there was strangely a lack of extra towels and bins in the room. I found myself walking into the bathroom many times to throw away trash. This is a good hotel and I plan to be back again, but it can definitely improve. Too much nickel and diming. Good service and good products inspire people to come back, which is worth much more than selling one bottle of shampoo and pushing a customer to never return again. Comfy robes and slippers. 9.5/10

We booked for 5 days stay. I picked this room becos I really like the lollipop lamp as it is so cute! The location is superb, if you turn left going out at the entrance of the building, you will be at the famous “3 streets and 2 lanes” (三街二巷) which is a bustling tourist spot with a lot of good eating places, and shopping places. If you turn right, in a few minutes, you will reach Nanning Old Street (南宁老街），also filled with eating places and shopping places, and there is a night market there too! The room is cosy and very clean. No unpleasant odours and there is a fridge and a washer in the room too. Toilet is clean and looks new, basic amenities like body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The room can be cleaned daily if needed and we requested for more bottled water on some days too. The owner is very friendly and very fast to act of request for extra water or to clear rubbish or tidy the room. Room is equipped with AI assistant, everything can be activated with voice commands (but I think you need to speak Chinese/Mandarin though). It took me a while to get used to speaking to 小爱同学 😜 It is very easy to get cabs from the building too. We also had no issues getting food and drinks delivered to us. I will definitely book this place again the next time I visit Nanning. 我们预订了5天的住宿。我选这个房间是因为我特别喜欢那个棒棒糖灯，它太可爱了！地理位置优越，从大楼入口出门左转，就到了著名的三街二巷，那里是一个繁华的旅游景点，有很多好吃的餐厅和购物场所。右转几分钟就到南宁老街了，那里也有很多餐饮和购物场所，还有夜市！ 房间舒适干净，没有异味，房间里还有冰箱和洗衣机。卫生间干净整洁，看起来很新，提供沐浴露、洗发水和护发素等基本用品。 如有需要，房间可以每天打扫，我们有时也要求加瓶装水。老板非常友好，无论需要加水、清理垃圾还是整理房间，他都能迅速响应。房间配备了人工智能助手，所有功能都可以通过语音指令启动（不过我觉得你需要会说中文/普通话）。我花了一段时间才习惯和小爱同学说话 😜 从楼里打车也很方便。我们也顺利地订到了送来的食物和饮料。下次来南宁，我一定会再次预订这家酒店。

Crowne Plaza is het hotel dat we hebben gekozen voor onze laatste nacht in Nanning. Het is schoon, goed uitgerust en modern, en heeft een comfortabele omgeving. Het ligt zeer dicht bij ASEAN Shengtiandi en Vientiane City. Het heeft volledige ondersteunende faciliteiten en is erg handig om te winkelen en te eten. Vooral Grace, de dienstdoende manager, heeft een zeer goede service-instelling. Omdat we met kinderen reisden, heeft ze ons direct gratis geüpgraded naar een hoge executive tweepersoonskamer van 2,4 meter groot met kinderen na een vermoeiende dag. De kamer is erg groot en ruim, en de buitenkant van de stad is ook erg mooi. Grace heeft ook zorgvuldig kleine cadeautjes voorbereid, zoals pantoffels en tandenborstels was een zeer comfortabele en perfecte verblijfservaring. Ik zal hier in de toekomst opnieuw kiezen.

Erg fijn hotel om te verblijven met veel winkelcentra in de buurt. Het ligt op loopafstand van de kledinggroothandelsmarkten en de wandelstraat met veel eetgelegenheden. Het hotelpersoneel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam en ze zijn allemaal professioneel genoeg in het behandelen van verzoeken van de gasten. Ik zal zeker weer in dit hotel verblijven als ik in de toekomst weer naar Nanning ga.

We stayed at the Yeste International Hotel (Chaoyang Square District Government) for five nights in mid November. Here's the pros and cons: Pros: 1) Good location. Within about 5 - 10 minutes walk, you will find yourself in the heart of one of Nanning's busiest shopping and dining district. 2) Good buns and vegetable dishes at breakfast. (If you'd like a piece of toast, however, there's no jam or butter. No cereals either. This is odd considering that the hotel markets itself as ”international”.) Cons: 1) The Yeste we stayed at promoted itself as ”opened in 2019” but this is misleading! It had been operated as some other hotels before the Yeste brand ”opened” the property as its own. The rooms may have been renovated but many details are clearly worn out from yellow caulking, slow drainage, to moldy cracks. The bathrooms are excruciatingly small. You can't access the full countertop without cramming your legs against the toilet bowl. (We stayed at the ”super” room. Looking back at the online photos posted by the hotel, we couldn't believe that's actually the room we'd stayed at. The fisheye effect used in taking those photos are misleading.) 2) The property allows smoking in some areas. Even if you booked a ”non-smoking” room, chances are that you will ”enjoy” second-hand smoking in the elevator, hallways, even in your own room. 3) Security is non-existent. There is a lobby at the front, but through a side door, which is open 24/7, anyone and everyone can come and go at will. The hotel shares the building with other tenants (businesses). From food delivery, other tenants in the building, to patrons of different businesses, the entire building is an open book. With the push of a button, anyone can access your hotel floors anytime of the day. Overall, if you are looking for a budget hotel to stay in the city, this property is okay. If you expect quality, security, or services, this is not the place to be.

The location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building. The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom. Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent. In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

I recently stayed at Sanzan Hotel, located near Jinhu Square Metro Station in Nanning, and had an overall pleasant experience. Here’s a breakdown of my stay: Location: The hotel’s location is fantastic, especially for travelers looking to explore the city. It’s just a short walk from Jinhu Square Metro Station, making it very easy to get around Nanning and access popular attractions. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and local markets in the surrounding area, which is incredibly convenient. Check-in & Service: The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to assist with any queries. They were always ready to offer directions or help with taxi arrangements, which made the stay even more hassle-free. Room: The room I stayed in was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was soft, and the pillows were just right for a good night’s sleep. The room was equipped with all the usual amenities like a flat-screen TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi, and an air conditioning unit that worked perfectly. The bathroom was spacious, with a good shower and all the necessary toiletries provided. Facilities: The hotel has a small but functional fitness center, which I used a couple of times during my stay. While it’s not a massive gym, it has enough equipment for a decent workout. There’s also a restaurant on-site, which serves a variety of Chinese dishes. The breakfast buffet was simple but tasty, offering a mix of local and continental options. Value for Money: Given its central location and the comfort of the facilities, Sanzan Hotel offers excellent value for money. The price is very reasonable, especially for a hotel that is so conveniently situated near a metro station.
