Tannis and Hans are charming hosts who made our visit special and personal. Our room was sweetly decorated and, importantly, had a very comfortable queen bed. Hans prepared delicious breakfasts each of our two mornings, over which we had fun and interesting conversation. After breakfast check out the charming pond-side village created by Hans. As an extra convenience, the couple was kind enough to let us charge our EV in the carport.

We stayed two nights and the hospitality was amazing. We had to leave early on the last day and assumed we would have to miss breakfast but not a bit of it we were provided with a delicious breakfast. The decor is delightfully quirky inside and out.

A comfortable and very cozy, cottage-like stay in a beautiful corner of Qualicum. Tannis and Hans were very kind and welcoming, with baking and chocolates in our room. The breakfasts every morning were world class, prepared by the talented chef, Hans. The change of pace from Airbnb and hotel that we have usually chosen was refreshing and our hosts were very attentive, considerate and accommodating. We would highly recommend The Tea Cozy as a warm and very ‘cozy’ spot indeed! We look forward to staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tea Cozy B & B. Tannis and Hans are wonderful hosts and made us fell immediately at home in their cozy (pun intended hehehe) home. We felt like we were in a cabin in the woods and really, we were, but it was warm and snug and we loved it. We only stayed one night and the next morning, we were offered a sumptuous breakfast made by Hans (who is an accomplished Chef). We also spent a good time chatting about life and a host of other topics with Tannis and Hans. It felt like we had to leave too soon, it was a wonderful stay and we will be back for sure!

We spent 2 nights for our 50th wedding anniversary. Our hosts were so welcoming and accommodating.
They served us 2 delicious breakfasts..left us some yummy treats in our room and invited us to join them for a game of cards one evening...so nice!
Their yard is a fantasy of very intricate little houses made by the host..very ralented.
We would highly recommend this B+B to anyone who likes that homey ,personal experience.

The best breakfast and so accommodating regarding diet restrictions. The host even made me cookies that were so delicious for a snack at bedtime. Loved staying with Tannis & Hans, who it turned out I had met years ago while volunteering for the Kettle campaign! I hope we can go back again someday!

This was a wonderful B&B with nice hosts; a cute gnome garden/village/pond in the from yard was a surprise. Fancy tea cups and stained glass lamps were used to decorate the room. I felt welcome to come and go as I wanted. The bed was comfy and the snakc provide were super tasty. I am going to look up and make the granola... it was to enjoy every day... and if I lived there I'm tempted to say it woudl be my bedtime snack! Thanks Hans and Tannis.

My husband and I have been to many B&Bs the last 21 years bit this has been th best !!! The hosts were lovely, so friendly, so accomodating, and the food was superb !! Host use to be a chef, and you could tell. Their yard was incredible, landscaped with beautiful flowers and decor, mini rock waterfall along with a handmade wooden village complete with pond that lites up at nite 🤗
