Booked this for my mother first trip to batam. The location and staff are great and friendly. Even got a birthday cake for mother. Will recommend this place!
But the buffet can be better. Food run out fast.

Room type:deluxe room-＞ spacious and solid and big and super comfy pillows
Pros: great location with WALKABLE distance to shopping:bcs mall; layer cakes:little box; massage place: pure, spring, kampong massage; cafe: itsumo, gazoz; a2 food court; si fang yuan for dimsum; near to all lot of convenient stores)
Breakfast included, i like their red fried rice
Cons: toilet bowl is very smelly…and they only provide free 2 small mineral water each day.. any extra is chargeable

Aston Inn Gideon Batam is conveniently located near shopping malls, a market place, many massage parlours, food courts and coffee shops. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Very good location with wet market just next to the hotel and plenty of spa/massage nearby and walking distance to shopping malls (very near BCS mall and just 8-10 min walk to Grand Batam Mall). A2 food court is nearby too.
Given its centralized location, grab to various places is fast and cheap. Definitely a plus for its location.
Complimentary hotel breakfast is good thou some food is cold, they immediately heat up for you if you asked for it; there is eggs, porridge, lontong and prata station too. For the low price we paid for the room, no complaints.
Family suite room is huge!
For luxury spa/massage lovers, pls check out Amartha Spa & Massage located at the hotel - be pampered and you will love it!
We are very happy with our stay. Will definitely book this hotel again.

1st time booked this hotel for 3 premier rooms, good location & friendly staffs, got problem with 1 of the rooms cannot open the main door, went to inform the receptionist, 3rd time they asked the security to go up with me & found out door lick is faulty & asked maintenance to rectify the problems. Lots of eateries, 2 shopping malls nearby.
Breakfast need some improvements. Next time will stay here again.

t’s my 3rd time staying at Aston Gideon. The location is fantastic cos walking distance to BCS Mall and Grand Batam Mall. Right behind is Penuin Market. And lots of message shop and A2 Foodcourt is just across the street. But this time round the smell from the sewage is quite strong from the toilet.
