Hotels bij Backyard, Mysore

Busy streets with many food restaurants nearby. Hotel entrance roads are in bad conditions but noticed it that all but few had similar conditions. Located well within places of interest like Mysore Palace and Jagmohan Art Palace. Rooms were large and spacious though. Aircon not working at times too. Bathrooms can be better with piping modifications to provide hot water rather than mix with pails. Overall a good place to sleep but not much to hang around. Thanks Krishna

Het beste dat ik zou zeggen. Ik was hier maar een dag toen ik naar Ooty en Bangalore reisde. Het hotel is zo mooi, rustig. Hun personeel is goed in orde, toen we kwamen, ze hebben ons met een welkome drank geserveerd, dankzij Ranjan. Ze waren zo bescheiden. De kamer was ruime, de badkamer was mooi en schoon. Het buffet was perfect. Ze hadden verschillende eten en veel opties en niet vergeten de live thee en koffiestation. We genoten echt hun gastvrijheid. Verder aanbevolen. Als ik terugkom naar Mysore, blijf ik hier zeker weer. The best. Thanks Arcor for making my stay a pleasant one. 🙏❤️

Me, my wife and kid stayed in this hotel for 2 days. And it was an excellent stay. The rooms are spacious, neat and come ls with all basic facilities including electric kettle to make hot water, coffee, tea and milk powder. Also this hotel has a rooftop restaurant which has a beautiful ambience with a swimming pool view from the side. Very different experience. Food is tasty and their service is humble and excellent. The hotel management, house keeping and the restaurant altogether deserve more than a 5 star as they work hard to make the guest stay peaceful and memorable. If you are looking for a stay for family and kids then this is the place.

Hotel is well maintained to keep the Mysore Palace look… staff is friendly and attend to visitor needs on priority…. Taste of food is good… play of traditional music gives touch of culture… perfect premium place for stay for Indian families and foreign visitors

Unfortunately, the level of this hotel has decreased. The following problems are currently being observed: - the quality of service suffers, it's trivial to forget to clean your room, which I haven't seen anywhere for a long time.; - they forget to bring the laundry without a reminder; Previously, these problems were not observed. A separate problem, which unfortunately was present before, is breakfast. By the time breakfast is opened, most of the dishes are missing, the omelet tastes poor, there are practically no dishes for Europeans, and those that are quite mediocre. In general, there is not even a choice of vegetables for breakfast, you can take either an omelet, baked beans, boiled eggs, or oatmeal porridge (unfortunately, they cannot cook it properly). Everything else is local food that is interesting to try, but it is problematic to eat it daily, taking into account other eating habits and diet. If you stay for more than two days, then you should think about where to have breakfast. By the way, regarding breakfast, I completely did not understand why such a false sign stands near the restaurant, as you can understand that logically, according to experience, by 10 a.m. the load will be the highest and breakfast will be a separate task, you may not even be able to find a place for yourself

Amenities is satisfactory . Location is average. Price point satisfactory . Spa service is satisfactory. Reception service is not satisfactory. Unpleasant customer service upon check out on 8/11/25 at 9 am. I was standing in queue waiting but the staff ( can’t really recall his name think it’s Sairik ) just ignored me and attended to another guest who came later.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in India. The attention and concern fo guests with excellent. The quality of food was a high standard and the hotel was set in a lovely, quiet relaxing area with a lovely adjoining restaurant.

Maintenance is Good. Service is really Good. We enjoyed our stay here. Nearby hotels are there if we are looking for out side food. Walkable Mysore Railway Station (950m) A little bit expensive.

Nice stay and worth the price. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and Shoba provided great service. Car parking space was a bit congested, but for this price and location, it’s hard to complain. 👍
