Hotel Stachus

De locatie van het hotel is top, direct naast het centraal station en dichtbij zowel de S-Bahn als de U-Bahn. Voor deze prijs is het echt een goede deal, en het hotel heeft airconditioning, wat heel fijn is met de zomerhitte!

We had an amazing Oktoberfest experience while staying at Hotel Stachus in downtown Munich during early fall. The hotel location was ideal for walking over to the festival grounds while not being too close to the chaos of the crowds and ongoing festivities. We enjoyed a cozy room with plenty of space for both us, our luggage and all our Oktoberfest souvenirs. The hotel itself was clean and well kept as was the room and hallways. Staff was friendly and offered us free beer in return for skipping room service for a day. Very much enjoyed this spot and would love to come back (wondering if non holiday season will make a difference). One note to my future self and other travelers is that the hotel does not have any coffee machine inside the room or community water station/refill spout which meant that we were on our own for both water and coffee. Not a big deal but this was something worth noting.

Stayed for 3 nights in mid September 2026. Location - about 7 mins walk to the Munich train station and 10 mins to the old town square Marieplatz. Most of the attractions are within walking distance. Not sure if it is the culture here but no smiles from the reception. Our room was not ready when we arrived, so we deposited our luggages and came back after 2 plus to check in. Room is not really noise insulated, can hear the dragging of chairs from above and tram passing by from the window. Very basic room, just bed and tv. No waters for drinking provided and was told by the reception that we can drink from the tap. 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash provided. No space to place extra stuff like facial wash in the bath area. The wash basin is separated from the bath and toilet area which I like. Good if you just need a place to sleep and for the location.

Room is small but functional. No toothbrushes and amenities provided. Breakfast is not worth Euro16 per guest as very limited variety. Front desk staff is not friendly and also mistakenly double charged for prepaid breakfast. When shown receipt, no apology offered. Location is very convenient. Picture shows the area in front of hotel

The location is very good, for going to the center, train station, but a bit far to the central bus station(still can walk in 15 mins). The room is very basic, without safe, refrigerator and kettle, good for just pass by for one night, just because of catching up the train/bus.

Room is clean but no amenities. The shower gel is the same as the shampoo. And no glasses or paper cups in the bathroom. The front desk service was good though.

The hotel was very close to the main train station , which was great as I could drop my bag of and head straight out , also easy access to the subway

The facilities were clean, modern, and well-maintained. All essential amenities were provided, making the stay convenient and hassle-free. The staff was polite, attentive, and professional throughout. Any inquiries or requests were handled promptly and efficiently.
