The Fox

Stayed here in August was attending a family party at another venue in the evening so only sampled the drinks in the bar and then stayed the evening after the party. Spoke to both Liz and Olivia who own and run the Fox great hosts, Liz told me about some of their plans and the pub is working progress for them. Nice room comfy beds great breakfast everything you need. Hope to return one day and enjoy their hospitality some more and all that Much Wenlock has to offer

Stayed there for one night on the way to N Wales. A delightful place. The room was cosy, clean and well-equipped. Their meal deal is a real bargain and there is plenty of choice. Fish pie excellent. Again, breakfast was very good and the portions generous. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. A real gem in an excellent location. We had to go back having left an i pad there. Both had “toasties” for lunch. Recommend everything about the place.

Annual catch up with the family. 7 of us and a new baby. Chose our meals from the daily menu, couldn't fault the value, service and lovely food. We were all made to feel very welcome. Thank you Liz, Olivia and the team. X

Lovely place good atmosphere busy bar but friendly. We stayed for one night room was really clean and good size. Bathroom spotless and good size. Good shower. Owner was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble 😊 (enjoy your trip )good breakfast too. We will definitely stay here again

We stayed for 2 nights B&B and had dinner 1 night. Pros Very friendly staff, a lovely welcome and great service. Amazing breakfast. The best breaded brie EVER. Generous portions. Very clean room. Lovely towels. Parking easy both days. The hilarious instructions for the shower in room 2. Cons Nothing big at all, just a few tips to enhance the guests stay. Maybe replace the stair carpet as it is dirty. I realise that a pet friendly place makes this difficult, but it would give a better first impression. The sight of so many flavoured gins made me look forward to trying them all but sadly there was no lemonade on either night, not even cans. I was gutted and we just went out for drinks. It really is a good place to stay and the above points are being picky. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Lovely welcoming, friendly hosts and staff. First class breakfast and evening meal. Accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a two night stay here. It is located in a quaint historic village. Good Central location for touring Shropshire.
