Hakuna Matata Game Farm

Very nice place,Lustine was friendly and helpful cause we arrived a bit earlier,everything uncomplicated and the chalet was excellent

It was a nice break away. So relaxed and highly recommended to any person. The place is well located spacious, clean. The hot tub is very nice.

Beautiful views, friendly hostess, complimentary bottle of wine, coffee and rusk. lovely environment to just unplug and recharge. Stunning hot tub. Will definitely be back!

3* accommodation but a 5* experience. The view overlooking the waterhole, seeing the various game visiting it and grazing was fabulous. We had the 2 bedroom for just 2 of us but for 2 couples sharing it'd be perfect as the bedrooms are separate, one "in" the home, the other attached. We spent most of the time on the deck though or in the wood fired hot tub, which was a lovely relaxing experience both in the day and in the evening. We also went out on the (extra cost) game drive, which was informative and nice to meet the husband (or staff, as we jokingly referred to him as) Both hosts are friendly and helpful and genuinely seem to want their guests to enjoy their stay. Although everything is there to self cater, we chose to eat out most nights and there are a few options, 10 to 15 minutes drive away. Finally, we were granted a late check out which really helped us in our onward journey and meant we were able to enjoy another morning on the deck admiring the view.

We loved our stay, it is so tranquile and peacefull sitting on our deck overlooking the dam and wildebeast. So many birds and one can hear the animals. The sauna was amazing, cottage so neat! The kingsize bed is a special treat. Thank you for our wine!

We loved this place. Very relaxing and wonderful environment. We did 2 game drives: 1 at botlierskop which is 20 min drive and 1 at Hakuma Matata game farm. I recommend to do both.. Hakuma is smaller but more authentic. Probably one of the best places we had on our trip in south africa.
